Cactus Jack. Loved him in WCW back in the day and, when I got around to seeing it, I thought his stuff in Japan and ECW was amazing.

I loved Deranged Mankind. I loved the entrence music, the sitting in the corner pulling his hear out, his squelling, his love for Uncle Paul, and his exit music. They don't make heels like that anymore.

Can anyone tell me the story leading up to the debut of Dude Love. When Mankind was brought in, it was revealed in some interviews that as a teenager, Mick Foley had filmed some backyard wrestling matches in which he competed under the persona of Dude Love, and it was kind of always who he dreamt of being. One night on Raw, Stone Cold found himself the sole tag team champion after his partner, Shawn Michaels, suffered an injury. He had to defend the titles against Owen Hart and The British Bulldog. He decided to go at it alone, but right before the match started, startling footage showed up on the Titantron. And the rest is history. I still think this is the best Titan tron video ever lol.

They don't make heels like that anymore. I agree, the Mankind character was one of the most original and unique characters in wrestling history.

I really wanted to vote for the Dude. But I've been a Cactus fan since I saw him the old USWA and Global.
Dude's debut in the Austin tag match was legendary however.

Cactus Jack in all his forms, but especially anti-hardcore ECW Cactus. Such amazing promos. Those promos that year were the best of his career and maybe the very best of all-time.

Mankind from 1996-early 1998 will always be my favorite his original character had so many layers. The psychotic piano player who squealed mommy and pulled out his own hair during matches was something that was unique for that era of wrestling.
His opening feud with the Undertaker was one of the best opening feuds ever in the WWF. Mankind was an instant main event guy thanks to his Undertaker feud.

I got to say Cactus Jack because in that persona Foley had his most insane extreme matches and most interesting angles as Cactus and maybe the best segment ever on WWE Programming:
