Question for the hardcore fans who'd know something like this... Where does CHIKARA run shows that's closest to DC? (Am I gonna have to drive up to Philly to see a CHIKARA show?) At the moment, with the shows they have announced, yeah, but I remember hearing something about them running a show near Baltimore at some point before the year's out, so I'd recommend just watching the www.chikarapro.com Events page to see if/when they come near you.

Okay, just looked into it a little deeper, and this September, they will be hitting Baltimore with their O'Brien>Leno show.

I thought that was just a rumor Well, I'm basically taking it from the fact that Chikarafans(dubious source, I know, but still) has it in their lineup of events. If things change, well, then I'm an idiot.

Well, might be a while from now, but that's better than nothing.
Still, I wish they'd come down here. ROH hits Virginia every now & then, why can't CHIKARA?

Well, Chikara's exploring a ton of new markets right now, so depending on how well they do in those places, further expansion might be possible.

Irrefutable proof that Herr Donst isn't a Communist. What kind of Communist loves baseball? He believes in a Brotherhood of equality among great beings, not some form of government.

what i bet happened was it was originally planed, but the new Director of Fun canceled the show cause if he knew his commie troops got that close to America's capital, all the red white & blue freedom lovers would rise up and send them back to commieland.

Remember this in the November hype thread? We've got an awesome trios match added to the finale show, and this one is gonna be great: It's time for the trainers of the Wrestlefactory to unite, as Mike Quackenbush and Claudio Castagnoli team with part time trainer Jorge "Skayde" Rivera to take on all star students, and current Kings of Trios, Gran Akuma and Icarus, joined by Chuck Taylor. Both teams coming into this have to have something to prove to the other. Will F.I.S.T. be able to solidify their place as the top trio by defeating the old guard, or will Quack and co. be able to put them in their place? Back when spanky was writing the match previews, he wrote Caludio as the third member of the team and not Jigsaw. Chikarapro.com is doing the same thing months later.
