Not me, I like the chant and find it pretty damned funny, is it so much because it was directed at Batista/Show or in general that you feel that way? Just curious. In general, pretty much. I just felt they were being pregnant dogy from what was up until that point a pretty damn good show. And the match wasn't near as bad as it could have been. Not to mention they pretty took a preverbial crap on the whole thing. Big Show at that point was (and I think still is) one of the hardest workers in the company, and they just crapped on what they went out there to do. Batista didn't choose to be there, Show didn't choose to be there. I don't know, it just didn't feel like your typical fun ECW crowd that gets into everything. Felt like it was the Impact Zone. Plus what i said above. But that's just me though. Different strokes I guess. To be fair, as mentioned before the crowd on 8/1 were into the Dreamer/Sandman vs. Knox/Test, Punk's debut and even Brooklyn Brawler got a pop, so it's not like the crowd was being like that the whole night. If it was probably someone like Taker, or even Ric Flair I think they'd be more receptive, but you put a match that didn't even have the "EXTREME RULES" stipulation and it's going to be damn hard to have ECW fans popping for bearhugs and top-wristlocks. They should've at least had a dark match main event to send the fans home happy, like Sabu/Show or something. I'm pretty certain that if the main event was announced when tickets went on sale, a good portion of those fans wouldn't have gone that night. They did give a good effort, but still that was poor booking on WWE's part. They should have the Flair/Show match there and the Batista/Show match on SD. They paid their tickets, so if they want to chant certain things, then it's their right. When they start throwing garbage, then it becomes a problem. I didn't see anything wrong with the chants at all. Certainly way better than hearing dead silence. I'm looking forward to tomorrow's Raw, the crowd will definitely be hot and it comes across well on TV.

It only comes across well if the reception is positive. like that ATL crowd a few weeks back. That was a great crowd.

Hell he doesn't have to be there, just play his theme and the crowd will riot about it.
I wish ECW was live and wasn't being taped, I want to hear the NYC crowd cheer punk and just bash Poser Shannon Moore.

As much as people here love Hassan, it would be of poor taste to have him show up tomorrow night......On 9/11..... in New York. It would likely lead to something craptacular.

I think the reception will be great, as long as they are loud and vocal, that works for me. I hate hearing (or not) crowds that sit on their hands the whole night. MSG will definitely bring the noise. If something is bad, and the crowd doesn't like it, why shouldn't they voice their feelings? They paid their ticket and as long as they aren't physically getting involved, there's nothing wrong with it.

I say we might get some "BORING!!" chants during the HHH/Vince match, and if HHH turns on HBK and joins Vince, as has been bandied about, then you can expect THUNDEROUS boos, and maybe even some garbage thrown at the ring. that isn't cool mate. i say we throw rubbish at you and laugh our asses off and bring signs for who we want to support and make you shut the luv up

The six-man match could get ugly. Cena, Jeff Hardy, and Orton in the same ring? There could be boos and "You Can't Wrestle" chants a'plenty from the smarks. nah man, plenty a cheers for John Cena! Why's that you ask? Cos' he's a good guy not a bad guy! Not just that but he can really wrestle! I aint booin Cena. I'm cheerin for him! RAW is gonna be a PHENOMENAL show tomorrow night, mates and not just merely "good".

I am a fan in the stands, in a seat and...HAHAHAHA! I sure don't have no ringside seat. Friggin turn on those fans that turn on wrestlers and f***k with em or just cheer louder for the wrestler they are booing! I say if you gotta take em outside the show later when it's over and give em a stomping to let em know that their shit ain't gonna be tolerated no more, so be it.

Awhole lot of U-S-A chants and possibly a N-Y-C chant. And odds are, that there is going to be alot of signs. "I remember", etc.

It would likely lead to something craptacular. Which is why everyone's expecting it to happen. It ought to be interesting, to say the least. The crowd will be hot for sure. The only thing that would be better is if the Giants or Jets were playing the monday night game. The we may end up hearing a "WHAT'S THE SCO-ORE?!" chant.

I don't see it that way, hell it even somewhat helped Hardy to get his job back, so it does have it's good side. I mark for a loud, vocal crowd, I hate crowds that sit on their hands for nearly 2 hours and only pop for Cena, not my cup of tea. If the match is crappy as hell (see Brockberg) why shouldn't you voice your feelings on it? You paid your ticket, so you can cheer/boo who you want, provided you're not being unruly or rude in the process to others around you. There's nothing wrong with cheering the face and booing the heel at all. But then, why should you be mandated to do so? I say cheer who you want, as long as you don't get stupid and out of order with it. That being said, I can't wait for tonight's Raw, probably for the reaction than anything.

If Cena so much as mentions 9/11 he will be booed, in a big way.

the ny crowd should be fun to watch. As could be seen with ECW, they make a boring show worth watching. It's only worth watching if you like watching an immature crowd jackass around. If you want to watch a wrestling match with even the least bit of potential (i.e. Big Show/Batista), you will be sorely disappointed. "Change the Channel" chants are a prime example of how a very hot crowd can totally ruin a match (as are "Boring" chants and "You F***ed Up" chants). They're disrespectful to the guys in the ring and to viewers at home who want to watch wrestling, not a fifth grade field trip. The best thing a crowd can do if they don't like a match is sit on their hands. There's no sense in ruining it for everyone else.

There's a huge difference between voicing your opinion and being flat-out disrespectful. See, my biggest problem is with fans who think they're better than the product. If Mr. I-Paid-My-Ticket thinks he knows so much about proper booking, he should just march right up to Stamford and apply for a position as a writer. Tell them your qualifications -- you've been watching wrestling all your life, and you never worked for a soap opera. You'll have a job in no time. *cheesy Mick Foley thumbs up*
