My personal opinion is that cooler heads will prevail and Melo will re-sign with Denver. But if he were traded, what could the Knicks possibly have? They have like 4 people on the roster, and have traded away their draft picks for at least the next 5 years.
And from what I understand, it seems like Bosh is holding everything up. The guy wants his money and play on a winning team, but it seems like greed is playing a lot into it.

One thing that resulted in Wade's sudden interest in the Bulls was the report last Monday or Tuesday that "he and LeBron spent all weekend in South Beach", meaning Wade was selling him on the idea of playing in Miami. A Chicago Tribune reporter scoffed at that, saying Wade was at the Cubs-Sox game while he was supposedly in Miami with LeBron. Wade's a local guy in Chicago, and wouldn't surprise me one bit if HE was the big-name free agent to hit Chicago (with possibly A'mare Stoudemire joining him, which makes more sense because the Bulls need a big guy) while LeBron just stays in Cleveland. I'm just tired of all the speculation on the sports stations. Don't guess on the story, get it right THEN report it. A lot of journalistic integrity is being flushed down the toilet during this free agent spree. Well, to be fair, journalist integrity has been virtually non-existant since Nov. 7th 2000 with all the election day speculation. I consider it common place for people do through everything they get taught in school about journalistic ethics when they get to the work place in order to be the one who scoops the story. It's the curse of the 24 hour news media of today, where you need to fill when news isn't happening, and what's the easiest way to do that... needless speculation. To be frank, sports reporting has always been heavily based in rumor, speculation, hearsay and opinion. It really wasn't any better before, we just see it more now with the 24-hour news cycle. And if you saw some of the things being printed in old papers, speculation would be nothing. As chaotic as it is now, the way it used to be is the reason we have libel laws.

That is why I think he is going back to the Rapters. I think giving the choice of taking less money with another team or getting the full max from the Rapters, he will choice to take the full max from the Rapters. And than probably during the course of the contact, Rapters keep losing and they trade Bosh to a contender. So who would have thought it is possible that Wade leaves Miami and Bosh stays with the Rapters, it is possible. Bosh clearly cares more about getting ever dollar than winning.

The Suns are actively shopping Leandro Barbosa, and the Celtics and Raptors are said to be very interested.

The Hawks and Joe Johnson have finalized a six-year contract worth around $120 million, according to beat writer Sekou Smith.
LeBron James isn't expected to announce his decision until at least Wednesday evening, when a three-day Nike camp in Akron ends.

LeBron if you sign with the Knicks, Bloomberg will give you a lap dance, "come on LeBron." Seriously though, I think until LeBron announces anything, the Knicks have a shot just like everybody. And now that they on the verge of getting Amare, things are looking up. Actully of all the other teams, I just can't imagine LeBron signing with the Bulls, if he does he can never step foot in Ohio ever again. The nation hates New York, but Cavs hate the Bulls more. No one hates the Bulls more than Cavs fans. I know everyone hates New York, but that is more forgiveable than signing with the Bulls as far as the Cavs are concerned.

Holly crap, Knick hater Chris Brusard is on ESPN right now and says the Knicks have a shot.
He says LeBron is intriged by playing with Amare and the following season with Carmello. If Brusard who has done nothing by belittle the Knicks says it, than it must have a lot to truth, because he wouldn't report anything possitive about the Knicks unless it is 100% truth.

The NY Post named Al Jefferson as part of a theoretical three-team trade that would send Big Al to the Warriors, David Lee to the Wolves, and Monta Ellis to the Knicks.

Hasn't he done that at a baseball game before? I believe I recall him wearing a Yankees cap to some Cleveland sports team's games before.

I'm always going to root for the guys from Kentucky, that's no shock. However, everyone and their mother knew Daniel Orton was making a massive mistake coming out early for the draft. Let's look over the run down from his first Summer League game shall we?
1-6 from the field, 1-4 from the foul line, and 3 offensive fouls in the Magic's first 5 possessions. Then he throws an elbow at JOSH MCROBERTS, gets in a fight and gets thrown out.
Final line: 1-8, 4 TO's, 5 fouls, and an ejection.
Couldn't you have just done that with Scotty Hopson next year in Nashville, Daniel?
