It's official we now live in a world where starcraft 2 exists. Now to go disco dancing!
Eh, atleast it's better than the spawn more overlords techno remix.

any thoughts on the game?
I'm not huge on RTS games, but I'm thinking of this one and would like thoughts from people not corporate shills.

I wouldn't be surprised if there are riots in South Korea for the sake of people getting their hands on the last copies of the game.

GOOD.
Now they have more time to work on Diablo 3.
Dont get wrong yo, I was excited for Starcraft 2 cuz I played the "crap" out of the original but when I heard all 3 campaigns will be sold seperately I gave Blizzard the middle finger cuz thays just plain GREEDY.

Apparently, Wings of Liberty is close to the raw length of the Starcraft 1 entire campaign. And the Zerg and Protoss campaigns are radically different in format

I know they are making it seen , the mage , monk etc. But the fact theu have no decisive release date is whats agonizing , but it's no surprise this is blizzard they will take years to churn out a game , and usually it's worth the wait so.

GOOD.
Now they have more time to work on Diablo 3WoW: Cataclysm.
Fixed that for ya. ;P Actually I'm anixous for Cataclysm, but my brothers and cousins (and yes me too) are all waiting for Diablo III. Still Blizzard is a big company. They have to be working on the Starcraft II follow-ups, Diablo III, Blizzard's new MMO, WoW Cataclysm, and WoW patches and unannounced projects. EDIT: Posting this article from Kotaku. Pixar talks about Blizzard:

No! I blame WOW for why Starcraft 2 and Diablo 3 have taken so long But a Starcraft MMO might make me break my no MMO rule, so they should do one.

WoW also made Blizzard one half of the biggest company in the gaming industry. I don't blame WoW for any D3 delay. Because different teams are working on different projects at Blizz. No, Blizzard's attitude of creating and refining games to the point of near perfection is the reason D3 is taking so long. It's also why they're such a major player in the industry.

Apparently, Wings of Liberty is close to the raw length of the Starcraft 1 entire campaign. And the Zerg and Protoss campaigns are radically different in format according to kotaku, someone beat the game in 16 hours. so that's a pretty lengthy campaign right there, especially for a game that's so multiplayer focused.

You'd know that I have two close friends. One plays wow, the other plays Yu Gi Oh. They make fun of each other and I make fun of both for both of them. With my two "things" being wrestling and Survivor. One is on my side about Survivor but makes fun of wrestling and the other vice versa, so it's a very deep and interesting dynamic. So I'm kind of used to making fun of WOW. Sorry. ;D

I give Blizzard a lot of credit. I'm not sure if there's another company around that can have so many projects going on at once, and the quality of each game never suffers because of it. Kudos to them.
