Don't know about an Aussie distributor. I know the first book was picked up by a UK publisher, but ironically enough, Death of WCW, which did even better than the first one sales-wise, wasn't. RD Perhaps they hired those left unemployed by WCW.

Maybe if the original folks who did the UK version of the book did, you know, a decent job (instead of renaming it, giving it a lame cover, and taking all the color photos out) it would have done better. RD

RD What did they end up naming it? It was like "Wrestling's Most Insane Tales" or something like that, right?

I just recently purchased Death of WCW & Wrestlecrap from Amazion.com.
I've already read Death of WCW and still currently reading Wrestlecrap and let me tell you all something those books are awesome I don't even like to read but hey I couldn't put those Books down.
I gotta say I can't wait for the 3rd book I think it will be the best of the three and thats hard to say when the first 2 was so good but I think the Dynamic Duo of RD & Blade can pull it off.

dude, i've read the death of wcw no less than 20 times (probably more), and i never get tired of it. it is an unbelieveable read. and i actually have to order another copy of wrestlecrap because the repeated readings have caused the book to fall apart right in the middle where all the pics are. i love them both, they are my wrestling bibles, right alongside mick foleys first 2 books. i can't wait for the new one, and it will be mine the day it hits the shelves.

Thanks for the kind words. I think if you like those books, especially the first one, you are going to love this one. It's very irreverant, a great book to keep by the crapper!

Funny, as I just did the same thing (bought both Death of WCW and WrestleCrap from Amazon). After getting done with WrestleCrap in just under four hours (read it in one sitting - which won't be the last), I'm looking forward to reading Death of WCW; especially after the previews I've read on amazon.com. Good work RD!

Thanks - I think everyone should really enjoy the new book. It actually had me laughing outloud at points, and that is generally a good sign. RD

Not to damper this release, but was Christ Benoit on any of the lists?

I think he may have been, and will likely be removed.
OTOH, Nancy was on our list of "Women in wrestling who should have been in Playboy but weren't". She will likely remain.

I don't know how the book business works, but would making changes like that now really screw up the process, or is it still just a big Word file somewhere?

Read your first two books and loved every page (aside from the Alphabet of Manliness, they're the only two I've read fully within the past...3 years maybe)
Can't wait until I get my hands on the new one
