Howdy all,
I'm a student in a writing class working on an assignment where I've chosen to write about impressive accomplishments of wrestlers outside the the ring. Ones that pop to mind immediately are Andre's legendary drinking and Gorgeous George's impact on TV and pop culture. I figure this would be the place to find the most knowledgeable people who might be able to help a fellow crapper come up with more interesting examples. Any and all help is deeply, deeply appreciated!

Well, The Rock's success in film is one that immediately springs to mind.

Write it in kayfabe using Wrestlecrap gimmicks i.e. T.L. Hopper was an accomplished plumber, Duke the Dumpster Droese a skilled garbage man, Kamala was a cannibal savage captured in Uganda etc...

I heard in his shoot that "Dr D" David Schultz is now a Bounty Hunter, he was supposed to be on some talkshow (Regis I think) and he had to cancel because the guy he was looking for was getting ready to make a move and he needed to get him.

Danny Hodge was a 3 time NCAA wrestling champion who was undefeated in collegiate ranks, an Olympic silver medalist in wrestling (losing out on the gold on a controversial call) and a national Golden Gloves boxing champion. Plus even today, in his 70s, the man can crush an apple with his bare hand.
Sorry. Much like Jim Ross, I tend to take any opportunity to put over Danny Hodge.
