Question about WCR archive on Libsyn?

Why is it that the only episodes on their are from now till August 2009?

If I was being as cruel as I normally am when writing about it, I'd say laziness, but it's probably not a priority for them in their busy schedules unfortunately. I've tried getting them to update them though with my uploads of the missing gaps, but to no avail.
There were episodes before that cutoff point - but for some reason they're not showing. They ARE available on the iTunes feed for the podcast however.

I believe some are on Rapidshare as well, just follow the links from that great site Wrestlecrapradio.com.

It has zero f***ing percent to do with laziness.

It actually has to do with how libsyn charges us. Believe it or not, while it is free to DOWNLOAD the shows, it's not free to HOST the shows (even though we don't charge for them). I pay those expenses out of pocket.

You can find them on the net, or you can buy the Roast DVD and get all the backlog (and TONS more audio plus everything ever on the website) fo' free.

That's what I said - my cynical side that I use to write the articles would say that. Not my normal persona though, although at times it is hard to distinguish the two I admit.

Huh, I didn't know that. Is this a monthly thing or a one time fee?
The thing I used to upload the earlier stuff was an earlier account of Iggy-Dragon's, on Rapidshare. The good news is (unless you have a Pro account subscription) it's free to both download and upload. The bad news though, is the draconian way to have to upload, and then if you want to download them you have to wait for like 45 seconds and THEN download it...and in some places it doesn't work, like back in my hometown in the Middle East; I tried testing it out and for some reason nothing came. Maybe it's a personal thing. But the adage that 'there is no such thing as a free lunch' surely rings true here.
Geez, I feel like Tevye in Fiddler On The Roof, with "one hand" this, and "on the other hand" that...Is Dave Meltzer a Broadway fan?

It's a monthly fee; we probably COULD host them all online, but the $$$ goes way up to do it.

Ach, that's no good. Having more episodes is a license to LOSE money - not worth it when there are cheaper alternatives. I should know.

Ah, I have an idea. Have a rotating cut-off point thing for all your uploads, i.e. a year back, and un-upload all episodes before that date. I can just as easily upload the episodes at my end at NO cost to you, just like all those commercials with Wilford Brimley about dia-bee-tus and mechanical scooters. What say you?
