Are Gooker nominees not allowed to have been inducted before the end of the year voting?
Triple K mentioned something in the Piggy James induction that made me wonder this.

Usually Gooker Nominations are held at the end of the year. Deal changed the rules for Piggie James because he didn't want to see Piggie James NOT be chosen to win the Gooker since the angle ended right now with 8 more months of bad wrestling that's about to happen, the fans will chose something MORE recent than Piggie James.
Example: "Denver Debacle" was the possible 2009 winner if it wasn't for the "Little People's Court". Hornswoggle's antics in that persuaded the votes enough to chose "Chavo vs Hornswoggle".

My basic rule is that we never induct a current angle; in other words, we never induct any angle that has taken place during the current calendar year. That way we can save it for the Gooker voting at year's end. We also don't allow ongoing angles into Gooker voting, because the angle hasn't seen its conclusion yet and could turn around (yeah, I'm an optimist). That leads to some weird stuff, like Piggy James, which was largely done in 2009, but not finished, so we didn't allow it to be voted for the Gooker awards.
Following standard WrestleCrap 'rules', it would be up for 2010 Gooker voting. But with Mickie's release, I didn't want to wait, so I broke that rule.
Hope that helps!

Yeah, but we've already seen a couple Gooker worthy things this year as it is, such as the NXT Diva Search and Bubba the Love Sponge, so I don't think it wins anyway.

I was just wondering in general about whether or not it'd be eligible.

As it's already been inducted, I'd think that nominating it for the Gooker would be kinda confusing and counterproductive?

Plus, I don't think it would win. Even if it had happened a little later and was fresher on people's mind, it probably wouldn't win because there were some people who actually liked the angle. And, there have been some worse things going on, like NXT.

RD Well since Triple Kelly wrote it already, and since you Deal usually write the Gookers. If Piggie James does win the 2010 Gooker, how about "Piggie James: The Director's Cut"?
