Vince Russo was able to buy the vinyl version of The Wall for a dollar AND likes Pink Floyd's Animals!?
I may have severely misjudged this man.

I was not surprised when he said to preferred the campy 60's Batman to the Nolan Batman. Not surprised at all

I'm glad that WrestleCrap Radio is finally tackling the big issues, such as obscure Batman villains and Tennessee Tuxedo.

I would like to provide the more optimistic counterpoint to RD's theory about Tennessee Tuxedo hanging out with Chumley. It is also possible that, as smart as Tennessee is, he feels sorry for Chumley and his awkward ways, and is in a way, much like George Milton protects and defends the dimwitted Lenny Small in Of Mice And Men, he is there to defend Chumley from the rigors of the fast-paced world, and even takes pleasure in being able to perhaps educate Chumley in the ways of said world. Deep, huh?

Hearing about Vince Russo's Giants fandom is enough to make me forgive anything he may have done in WCW. I mean, I knew he wore that Bonds jersey during the Bash at the Beach thing with Hogan, but I didn't know how much of a fan he was.
Of course, now I wonder what he thought about A.J. Pierzynski's involvement in TNA. Giants fans hate Pierzynski. He came to the Giants in a horrible trade, sucked all year, lead the league in grounding into double plays, and (allegedly) kicked the team's head trainer in the nuts during a spring training game. Try a Google Image Search on the name A.J. Pierzynski, and look at one comes up first. That's what Giants fans think of Pierzynski!

so RD and Blade, now that you've had Vince Russo on for an hour and NOT talk about wrestling, when are u FINALLY having Dave Meltzer on? (I would love to hear you guys say "Dave Meltzer, talkin' about fast food mascots this week on Wrestlecrap")

That interview had nothing to do with wrestling. What's up with THAT??! How BORING! And I'm pleased I'm now considered a full-time half-assing recapping lackey (I've only half-assed my writings about 5 times) instead of "some chick". Does that make me the Wrestlecrap Stevie Richards?....or The Blue Meanie? But Kelly, you are MY lackey. That should count for something. I always laugh when people say inductions aren't as good as they used to be, back in the 'hey day' of the site. Those original inductions were so awful. They were like 200 words tops, and were basically me saying, "Ha ha ha, the Ding Dongs...boy were they dumb!" It's a rose colored glasses thing. I definitely think the inductions of the last few years are so much better than the early ones it's not even funny. RD Not enough words can convey how proud I am to be your lackey, good sir. And sometimes 200 words or fewer is all it takes to show how bad something is. Once in awhile, I'm just tempted to send in the screen caps and say "these speak for themselves".

See, I don't have a problem with this interview since most of the WCW stuff you could ask about was covered in the last interview 3 years ago, and - from what I gather from reviews - are just the same BS excuses he writes in his book and says in every other interview. So doing more of a non-wrestling podcast with Russo is actually a more interesting, fun angle. I look forward to listening when I get time

The Russo Podcast was great. Have to agree with the whole Julie Newmar 60s Batman thing as "Catwoman" because she was very curvy in that outfit.
However. Vince Russo likes "Lady GaGa"?!? Now that explains some of the WCW/TNA crap!

I wonder what Cap'n Crunch with Boo Berries would taste like. Cereal crossover event. I will do this tomorrow morning. I've comboed Cap'n Crunch with many cereals: Frosted Mini-Wheats, Coco Krispies, Cheerios (of all varieties), Wheaties, and it goes on. Boo Berries maybe the most interesting yet.

After this, I want a crossover episode - you guys hosting Bryan & Vinny and having to talk wrestling, Bryan & Vinny talking about trashbagging, the grocery store and having to talk to Gay Popeye, whilst RD gets a nice conversation with Granny.

I've talked with Granny before on the show, very nice lady. I keep pushing her to make Bryan clean up his language. lol RD

You guys need to do more interviews like this. Just bringing in wrestling guys and shooting the shit with them about everything EXCEPT wrestling. They get enough of that from everyone else, all the time.

I totally support Kelly doing a bad movie blog. She can start with 12 Rounds aka "Let's dumb down and ripoff Die Hard 3."

I had to post this here from the TNA Random pics thread, as Vince Russo seems to be getting screwed out of his fantasy football money.
