I'm actually pretty surprised by the results so far...I credit TNA for having no one watch their show, otherwise Jenna-Sharmell would be a lot closer to the top. Or is that bottom? RD You had to pay to see the greatness of Sharmell/Jenna though -- and I don't think very many people did. I don't know why they wouldn't... that match and build had MUST BUY ANGLE written all over it! Trust me, we have ALL paid a price for The Hornswoggle Saga...a price greater than $35. And if you bought that PPV for Jenna/Sharmell match, you deserve to lose more than your money.

However....the original concept of the Gooker was something that was heavily promoted to end up with something laughable. In that sense, Santina/Miss WrestleMania/ Kid Rock is the best choice. This was at The 25th Anniversary of WrestleMania (gag) and ruined the 25 diva battle royale and the tag match. While I thought Santina was funny for a night or two, it was a slap in the face to women's wrestling, tag wrestling, and the fans. This was the exact reason I voted for Santina. Not that Horny/Chavo is a bad choice -- it's a very close second -- but I think Santina fits the spirit of the Gooker more than Horny/Chavo does. But it looks like Horny/Chavo will win in a landslide.

Horny/Chavo got my vote. I don't watch TNA, but I'm pretty sure my vote would've been the same even if I did.

I had somewhat forgotten about the ECW preacher. As far as the Gooker goes. I had to think about whether I wanted the guest hosts or Hornswoggle vs. Chavo. The guest hosts at least some of them were decent (Barker and anyone associated with the WWE past or present) however Swoggle vs. Chavo nothing was good. Also several guest hosts I think would work better as single inductions as opposed to inducting all the bad ones at once.
As far as Swoggle vs. Chavo goes I have no clue how this whole mess started (much like Kane vs. Mysterio a couple of years ago) it just seemed one week Chavo lost to Hornswoggle on Superstars and each Monday Chavo continued losing to Hornswoggle with each week the stipulation getting more and more pathetic as it went on.
BTW if Hornswoggle vs. Chavo does indeed win the Gooker I think the next week they need to do the second part to the Hornswoggle McMahon angle (where the 2007 Gooker ends). Also I think there needs to be a new tradition around St Patrick's Day of inducting something related to Hornswoggle the same way Wrestlemania weekend gets something related to Wrestlemania inducted. Going at this pace in three years there would be enough Hornswoggle stuff for 10 years worth of St. Patrick's Day inductions.

RD You had to pay to see the greatness of Sharmell/Jenna though -- and I don't think very many people did. I don't know why they wouldn't... that match and build had MUST BUY ANGLE written all over it! Who said I PAID to see it? I saw it when it was on YouTube for....FREE!!!! The reason I saw it that way because I heard it was so horrible. Stupid me and my curiosity! Hell! I even recapped the match! I still feel filthy for doing that! Okay before I comment I gotta give props to Triple Kelly for this week. Anybody who works in a "Back To The Future" reference. Well I'm sold. Voted for Sharmell/Jenna because Hornswoggle is for the kids and his feud with Chavo was for that. TNA gave us 2 people that wasn't trained to compete in a match, 2 Knockouts (Sojourner Bolt & Awesome Kong) looking good in a match where they didn't do anything, and like Kane playing "pocket pool" in "See No Evil" this match still haunts my nightmares. Bright side. Jenna Morasca got a free pelvic exam before the match began. I was sold on the "Preacher" reference myself. Anyways, to talk about the actual entry, am I the only one who would've liked to see Tony DeVito in WWECW? He also played Macho Libre so between that and the preacher, I kinda hoped that meant he got some sort of deal. I would've loved it if he came out with some sort of stupid gimmick every week where The Sandman caned the crap out of him, only for him to be all like "Is this what I gotta do to get noticed anymore?" But I think the only reason I even kinda like him was an ROH promo he cut against Special K where he yelled out "WE'LL TAKE YOUR PILLS FROM YOU!" out of nowhere and it made me laugh. As an aside, I even went so far as to sign him in my EWR game (which started around the same time as the ECW revival) and paired him up in a tag team with Justin Credible and they're actually (kinda) over. As for the Gooker voting, I voted for Jenna vs Sharmell, on simple logic that midgets > women that wrestle worse than the Bellas combined. I just realized it when I re-read this week's Induction. Is it me or did Triple Kelly sneak in a "Judge Dredd" reference with the "I AM THE LAW" line?

Cast my vote.
I voted for the Denver Debacle. It doesn't seem as if it's going to win.

Cast my vote. I voted for the Denver Debacle. It doesn't seem as if it's going to win. Speaking of the Denver Debacle it was the Pepsi Center in Denver the WWE got ousted of. The Staples Center is in LA and was where they wound up having Raw. The site for voting says that they were ousted of the Staples arena.

You know, I gotta wonder why you guys had to go with that picture for the front page. Makes it hard to watch this place in public without outrunning the loading bar.

I just realized it when I re-read this week's Induction. Is it me or did Triple Kelly sneak in a "Judge Dredd" reference with the "I AM THE LAW" line? I did, LOL. Sandman's face had that Stallone Judge Dredd contorted look. And it's quite funny, after Sharmell Vs. Jenna, RD had called me up and said, "Kelly, you GOTTA watch this match" and I checked it out and called back, "What the HELL did I just watch, Deal??!" He jokingly told me, "It probably won't win Gooker but it should". Now it looks like it's a strong contender.

Classy tribute to Paul Servo at the start of the show, guys, thanks. And American 'crappers...trust me, Canadian game shows of the 70s and 80s were as bad as RD and Blade imply. After what seemed like 38 decades of stuff like Front Page Challenge.... (*whimper, sob*) (I recently bought the authoritative history of Front Page Challenge...which had gone directly to the used book store's $1 shelf.)

But "Judge Dredd" is one of those movies that when its on TV I have to see it no matter what. Jenna/Sharmell right now is number 3, behind "The Worst of RAW Guest Hosts" at number 2 & Chavo/Horny at number 1. Come on people! Make Jenna/Sharmell number ONE! So I can go to Jenna Morasca's MySpace Page, whom at the time was VERY PROUD OF HER MATCH mind you, so I can say "See Jenna. The world made if official! YOU SUCK!"

As I've said before, as bad as Jenna/Sharmell was, at least in only happened once. Hornswoggle/Chavo just... wouldn't... end.
And infusing it with lousy guest hosts just made it worse.

Hornswoggle as a whole should win The Gooker Award. I enjoy the wacky side of wrestling and grew up during the last PG era of the WWF/WWE so I've seen some straight up Wrestlecrap, but Hornswoggle is just down right insulting to wrestling fans.
Honestly I'd even suggest the runner up being DX still being around despite not being relevant since I was in middle school.

It was a toss up between Horni/Chavo, Santina/Kid Rock, and the bad guest hosts.
I think I went with Horni/Chavo because it went on and on and on and still might be going on. They could have had Chavo do a face turn and end it (which they hinted at once.) But no...it went on. Ruined the cred of guys like Mark Henry, Evan Bourne, and of course Chavo. The cow suit one sealed the deal for me and the "bad ass" refs insisting that Chavo need to abide by the rules or lose. Why did Chavo even care? The Home Alone backstage bit was ridiculous too.
Santina made me laugh. The Guest Hosts were forgettable. Chavo/Horni ruined the flagship show and made many consider quitting watching wwe.

Hornswoggle / Chavo was inoffensive enough that it really shouldn't even be a nominee, but naturally it's going to be the runaway winner.
Put my vote behind Santina, I think, though if I had my choice it'd probably go to the Randy Orton / Triple H feud.

I'm not voting this year, none of the entries really catch my eye and I don't know why. I don't question it either of course, but still. I'm fearful that it will be a repeat of last year, when people complained that Mike Adamle shouldn't have won compared to the MDM. On the other hand, I'm not sure what other option is better. I'm just lazy that way. Currently the Hornswoggle thing is at the lead with 36%. RAW Guest Hosts 24% Jenna vs. Sharmell 17% Santina Marella 11% Abraham Washington 5% Vince vs. Denver Nuggets 5% Governor 4% No word on how many votes though. Humph. Also why aren't all the Gawkers Classic Inductions? I want to copy the Mike Adamle one to save for myself, I'm hoping to post them all on wrestlecrapradio.com as reference sources.
