3 Smackdown PPVs and an underwhelming ECW card. DX segments are highly rated but that won't stop the boos at the next PPV. Are you admitting that people DO care about DX? And yes, of course they'll probably get booed. (What is your obsession with Cena/DX being booed, anyway? ![:P](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/tongue.png) ) They're in Canada, Canada hates HBK, so yes there's that possibility. It's not obsession. Cena gets booed on PPV and DX has this coming.

So DX gets booed for 1 PPV and on 1 RAW that's going to take place at the exact same spot that made Canadians hate HBK? So what? It's not the end of the world and it isn't going to prove anything. If Unforgiven was being held somewhere in like North Dakota and they'd get booed, then yeah I'd say there was a problem there but since it's goint to be held in Canada, then of course it's expected that DX is probably going to get booed because of HBK. ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png)

You have an obsession with fans of people you don't like being upset with them getting boos. And frankly, that's kind of an odd obsession to have. There are other ways to get your kicks, you know.

Canada actually likes HHH, remember the last time he was here, he was a heel and he actually got cheered. Vince and HBK on the other hand are a different story. Canada will always suprise so don't hold your breath to hear dx booed. Actually this is true, HHH usually gets cheers in Canada but he's with HBK so I don't know. Maybe it'll be a split crowd.

The problem with DX Version 2006 is that they are really a self-parody.
Back in 1997-8 their characters were "rebellious and anti-establishment".
Now, with HHH and HBK, they ARE the establishment.
They are pretty much just like the "older guys pretending to be teens" that they accused the nWo of being.
And the "Evil Mr. McMahon" character is SOOOOO stale. At this point, it would be refreshing if Vince simply started playing a normal, well-balanced character.

Agreed, but I do credit them with sorta aknowlaging that they're lame with the inside jokes and all. As for Vince, my dream scenario is him getting "imjured during the HIAC match and being written off tv

I have a feeling they will be cheered heavily If it were any other place, I bet they would be, but up north hasn't nor will they ever forget Survivor Series 97. I'm sure in some way shape or form HBK will play up to the boos, he's good at improving in a moment's notice.

It wouldnt shock me to see DX make references to being booed in Canada, and somehow play into it

Obsesssion? I turn the channel on DX every single Monday. And with Monday Night Football coming back and me having Tivo, there really is NO reason for me to even sustain watching a second of their crap feud with Vince and his first born.

Trish and Cena's boos made it on the WM 22 DVD, Cena's HUGE vulgar boos made it on One Night Stand 2, Shawn Michaels' boos from WM XX-21 made it, Orton's boos when he was a face made it on Royal Rumble '05...now if they are gonna show all of that, why would DX be spared? I'm not saying they will do it just to spare DX, but if the crowd just takes a shit on the entire match ala Lesnar/Goldberg (since Shawn and Vince are on opposite sides, the fans have no one to cheer for), then they'll definitely edit it. Regardless, my point was that if DX gets booed so badly that the WWE doesn't like it, then they CAN edit it if they wanted to. It's not like they haven't done it before. Regardless, since it's in Toronto, I expect every face to get booed, and every heel to get cheered, except DX/McMahons match where I expect the crowd to take a dump on the entire match. Should be entertaining at least.

Nah...I still don't see that happening. I think if the match is booed horribly, as I will be getting first hand accounts from associates going in person in Toronto, I think they will keep the reactions in. I have seen no HEAVY editing on any of the more recent DVDs except WM 22's "Take out the Mickie coochie grab" thing.

WWE edited out the "F*** You Cena" chants from the Hall of Fame show earlier this year, if you saw it on WWE.com they were loud as hell, on the DVD it's just a smattering of boos.

I'm ready!!
DX could have been good this time, but they really ran it into the ground by being obsessed with roosters. I think at some point in the near future Shawn will tell Vince to eat his shorts, and HHH will tell Vince not to have a cow, man.

The rooster thing is not even funny, and I don't see a lot of people wearing that particular DX shirt which looks gay,IMO.
Thank god they still sell the old school DX shirt, when they were cool.

But the "F U, Cena" chants for the match were there nice and clear. But truthfully, if they released One Night Stand 2 with all of that stuff, then the boos will make the DVD for DX.

I was at shopzone today and it said New Rock shirt. "Do you Smell It?" and I don't EVER remember that shirt coming out. I heard they released some Austin and Rock retro shirts last week but that one? I don't remember that one from 1998 or 99.
