Here are mine:
Vince McMahon: The year starts off where he makes a match for his entertainment that results in fans yelling We Want Wrestling, boring and TNA. This sets up the battle of the billionaires. Besides the dumb promos (such as Eugene getting his head shaved) all the big "suprises" (Austin as ref, Lashley representing Trump) were known well before it was officially announced. The match itself was pretty good.
Then you had McMahon wanting revenge for getting his head shaved. More stupid promos time. Including one which Lashley causes Umaga to lose the Intercontinental Championship to a fan He wins the ECW title and then forces Lashley to try to get it back in matches with garbage stipulations. After McMahon loses the title he then gets bad vibes before finally getting blown up. The next night they have a ten bell salute which is reserved for dead wrestlers. Furthermore they do it in perhaps one of the worst places as far as people who know it is just a show. After the real-life death of Sherri Martel the storyline continues as if nothing happened. Then comes the Benoit tradgedy which ends the storyline prematurly.
Vince Returns and finds out he has an illegitamate son. This leads to several weeks of McMahon talking about his past sex life Since who was supposed to be his son got in trouble with steroids. They decide rather than using it to push someone else to make a leprocohn his son. This leads to segments that include the ring blowing up and Carlito jobbing to a wall.
--The Orton/Mr. Cena storyline-Bad enough having someone's father attacked then putting him in a match
--Pacman Jones-Can't play football? Start Wrestling. Cant wrestle? That's okay we will give you a belt anyway. Reminds me of another promotion who gave a celebrity a belt
-TNA Lockdown-Your loser anyone who dropped the money to see this
-Elevation X-How long will it be before we have a death in this match after someone falls and hits their head on the turnbuckle?
-Great Khali World Heavyweight Champion. Last year they did not even want him to have a match on a live tv. One year later he has the World Heavyweight Championship.

Mine:
Serotonin - Look! It's the new Flock! They're creepy! Their poorly developed! They lose constantly!
"Guru" Sonjay Dutt - Wacky joke gimmick that just didn't work.
TNA Hard Justice - Unlike the rest of you, I enjoyed Lockdown. It was Hard Justice that bit the big one.
Vince McMahon, 2007 - I agree with everyone else - everything involving Vince should be lumped together.
Team Pacman - One is barred by the NFL from actually wrestling. The other is only there for the paycheck. Let the wackiness ensue!
Elevation X - It isn't because of how dangerous it looked. It's because Rhino, TNA's "man without fear," was obviously scared of heights.

Most of mine have already been selected but here's a few under the radar
Team 3D vs. LAX Electric Steel Cage match-terrible, terrible match. Team 3D has at this time the most hated faces ever and faced the actually beloved LAX in a match that had the most fake electric shocks ever and that includes Abby Eric Young/Robert Roode Feud-Young being Roode's slave surprisingly did not get him over and just made him look like an idiot and lead to bad trend in TNA which is violence toward women! New Breed vs. Originals storyline this sucked mostly because not only are all the originals gone but most of the New Breed, who were supose to be future of ECW are gone as well
Abyss 2007- Now he's had good matches and all but the whole story with him and his past was horrible and as of writing this had lead to nothing. Well except involving Sting and Christian Cage for some reason oh and a myriad of monsters to the excitement of no one.

Mine, in no particular order:
1. The Sad Saga of Vince McMahon - Includes Rosie vs. Donald, Battle of the Billionaires, ECW Champ, rumored cancer storyline turns into crazy Vince, Limo Explosion, Return, Hornswaggle storyline, Crazy Vince again
2. Kurt Angle/Samoa Joe feud - One of TNA's dream matches/feuds is given to us prematurely with hardly any buildup and ends with Joe jobbing and Angle holding every title in TNA
3. Team Pacman (aka David Arquette 2007) - Ron Killings quits TNA but returns to join forces with Pacman Jones, who cannot wrestle due to NFL rules and is replaced by a jobber at TNA's biggest event of the year. All three leave TNA immediately after the show.
4. Elevation X - Simply because the whole match was Rhino and AJ holding onto the scaffolding for dear life.
5. Vickie Guerrero - Returns to Smackdown with a secret plot to take over the show. Poisons Teddy Long to become GM where she and Edge have a sexual relationship that leads to Edge winning the belt and Teddy being Vickie's slave. Also sees the redebut of tag team jobbers the Major Brothers as... tag team jobbers with generic names!
6. VKM - James Gang ditches their New Age Outlaw ripoff personas to become the Voodoo Kin Mafia and wage war against Vince McMahon and WWE. VKM vs. VKM!
7. VKM vs. Christy Hemme - Terrible feud that saw Hemme "act" and bring in WWE jobbers to, well, job again to VKM. Went nowhere but it is partially kayfabe responsible for Amazing Kong's boobs being exposed on PPV.
8. The Sad Saga of Abyss - Confusing, terrible angle where it is revealed that Abyss is a momma's boy who shot his dad and was being blackmailed by James Mitchell. Leads to Sting wearing an Abyss mask, Abyss talking, and Abyss in Sting facepaint. Also leads to the debut of Judas Messias who is the son of both the Devil and James Mitchell.
9. Andrew "The Punisher" Martin - Test is brought into TNA following a failed WWECW main event run and participates in two shows and a PPV match. Fired immediately after.
10. No Mercy 2007 - A PPV with so many title changes, you'll think it was being booked by 2000 era Vince Russo!
Hon. Mentions: - Datsa Smilin' Meat-a-ball!: The rookie months of Santino Marella - Team 3D vs. the X Division - Angle stalks Sting's underage son - TNA Holiday Specials (Angle Thanksgiving, TNA Christmas episode) - Benoit Tragedy/Steroid Scandle - World Title Chaos on SmackDown - Batista/Lashley Promos (Basketballs, NO, Dad's Uncle, Batista's white turtleneck, etc.)

Other Honorable Mentions:
Ken Kennedy sabotages his own push.
Harry (D.H) Smith follows in his father's footsteps.
The Box Office Performance of The Condemned. (That attack on Spider-Man at Raw really was pathetic too)
Also:
Chris Jericho returns looking like a bartender from a homosexual nightclub. (Credit Sean Carless for that one)

- Pacman Jones: He's BAD BAD (You ain't kidding about the bad part)
- The Edge/Vickie Love Affair: Rated R for Retarded
- TNA Holiday Specials: Featuring Kurt Angle spitting food into Sonjay's tambourine
- The Death of Vince McMahon: A bigger bomb than "The Condemned"
- The Condemned: Because no one has ever thought of doing a movie about people having to kill each other to win a contest on an island before *COUGH*BATTLE ROYALE*COUGH*

Wait........ FANTASY BOOKING ISLAND! ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png) Second that motion. Fantasy Booking Island was more like Bikini Atoll, the site of a great big bomb. I agree with most of what has been stated so far. The only thing I could think of adding would be Cody "I'm my daddy's boy!" Rhodes. That guys is just horrible. The guy is generic, bland, not very good in the ring. By all rights, the guy should be a jobber on ECW. Instead, he is heavily featured on Raw.

Don't know if this has been posted already or not but I say Hulk Hogan:
1. Didn't want to work WM due to not getting the $ he wanted and we get stuck with wack ass Lashkey. 2. Jumped on the energy drink bandwagon. 3. Another season of the fakest reality show in the world. 4. Divorce 5. Due to divorce he has to now kiss Vince's ass and we might get the Wrestlecrap match of the century, Hogan - Khali 6. Buying his kid beer......CRASH!!!! 7. And having Brooke as a daughter gave us the Jillian gimmick which in turn gave us the GREATEST SINGLE XMAS album EVER!!!!!!!
If not like everyone else TNA

I don't mean to toot my own horn, but I believe it was I who first said that "Vince 2007" needs to be the Gooker winner this year. I'm sure if we scan the archives, we can find the proof of that.
Not that it matters, really, who came up with the idea first. The fact is, no matter who first said it, it is the only proper choice. Vince in 2007 WAS WrestleCrap.

Another I thought of...not sure if it's been mentioned already, but it should be mentioned multiple times anyway:
TNA:
Mr. Killings Goes to Hollywood: TNA's resident wack-ass rapper wannabe turns to acting. Belligerent boom mikes stand in his way.

Man, some of you are going overboard on the TNA crap. Eric Young vs. Roode may have gone on too long, but a Gooker winner it certainly was not. And Judas Mesias? At least give the guy a chance first, yeesh. Now, for stuff from TNA you COULD call crap:
-The "Ron Killings Goes to Hollywood" bits. Pointless, lead to nothing.
-I want to say Pacman Jones, but it at least led to a few entertaining matches. Still, a champion who technically can't wrestle? Eh, at least they never played him up as dangerous, and just harped instead on how he was "fast and crafty".
-The Blindfold Cage match and the Electrified Cage match, both from Lockdown. Blindfold matches suck in general, and the "electric" cage was too gimmicky for anyone with taste.
Now, I don't watch much WWE, but I can safely say this one as my top nomination:
-VINCE MCMAHON 2007: A YEAR IN CRAP. Any time I tried to watch WWE, I'd walk away scratching my head at some of the baffling storylines that centered around Vince. I'm sorry, aren't there WRESTLERS they should be trying to get over?! Rosie vs. Trump. Battle of the Billionaires (Do YOU love Bobby?). Vince: ECW Champion. Vince = dead. The hideous, offensive use of the ten bell salute for Vince at the start of the next Raw. And, to wrap it all up, Vince has a bastard child...and the crowd goes dead.
You can't really break them all up into separate nominations, because A) they'll drain votes from one another, B) a lesser Gooker nominee will win, and C) it all flowed so seamlessly, one crappy storyline centered around Vince to the next.
The only good thing Vince gave the audience out of all of it?
"GIT! GIT GIT GIT!"

Man, some of you are going overboard on the TNA crap. Eric Young vs. Roode may have gone on too long, but a Gooker winner it certainly was not. It's not just that it was long, it's that it was illogical to the nth degree, gratingly unfunny, and it subjected us to Eric Young in his underwear. It was bad times.

Easily Rosie/Trump. The whole "Battle of the Billionaires" was bad enough, but that match was just brutal.

Carlito and Hornswoggle "running through the spraypainted wall" was 1 minute worth of a years supply of gooker. 2007 is a great....err, awful....year for the Gooker, and so many great (awful) choices to win. A better question should be, which disaster will be visibly remembered the most by rasslin fans a decade from now, like the Gooker?

TNA: The Promotion. This is the company that still has Russo on the payroll, that gave us Kurt Angle: Superchamp, and let's not forget Pacman Jones, the mascot, pole matches, SWERVES!, Black Reign, VKM, rebboj, run-ins and encounters after every match on Impact, and worst of all they gave us a blindfold cage match!
