why are the having the interpromotional match now instead of SSeries? Because they are already hotshoting the returns of Foley & Austin to the ring, as well as the Flair-HHH feud (a cage match after only 3 weeks of feuding!), so they figured they might as well hotshot RAW v SMACKDOWN as well I'm sure the Smackdown stars not voted into the TT match will make a run in setting up a Raw vs. Smackdown elimination match as SS.

I couldn't help myself, so I actually voted on this thing.
Someone tell me why they're even trying on some of these? The Austin/Coach thing will obviously end up a street fight, and Flair and Trips will obviously end up in a cage.
Speaking of which, that's brilliant right there. Start a potentially big feud, one that could develop over time, and IMMEDIATELY drop it in a steel cage. Shouldn't that wait 'til a potential blow off match? I don't know.
On the bright side, Alexis is gonna look REALLY good, no matter what they end up wearing.

Can someone explain to me the whole UKers free PPV thing for me? It is pretty lame they're stopping it, but what was the rationale in the first place?

We are indeed. I heard its the last PPV we ever get free though... The deal that they signed in October last year (Where we get 6 of them free) was a 5 year deal so I assume up till 2009 we'll be getting some free I only pay for 4 - 6 of them myself (The big 4 and 2 brand only ones if 2 decent cards comes about)

I got the information off someone on another forum. So I could be wrong.

My Predictions:
World Tag Team Championship - as much as I would like to see Kane and big show beat Cane and Murdoch... it ain't gonna happen...
Eugene & a WWE Legend vs. Rob Conway - Rob Conway will become victorious.. but even though he beats the hell out of Jim Duggen... he will still not get any heat..
Fulfill Your Fantasy Diva Battle Royal - for all the pervs who think Diva action is sexy(it is.. but c'mon.. you CAN find some crazier action on the internet).. not many will care for this match..Leather will get the vote.. and Mickie James will win on accident.. we might have a camel toe slip too..
Carlito vs. Mick Foley - Mankind or Cactus Jack will get the vote(preferrebly Cactus Jack).. and Mick Foley will win via Mr. Socko
Stone Cold Steve Austin vs. Jonathan Coachman - Ima guess street fight(I voted for debate) but Stone Cold will win(unless we see the fingerpoke of doom... or outside interference by..20 people)
Intercontinental Champion Ric Flair vs. Triple H - this is a tough one.. its in a cage but Ric has been looking pretty solid..... HHH
Edge & Masters vs.Two SmackDown Superstars - JBL(WRESTLING GOD!) and.. Christian(please).. ok who am I kidding, Matt Hardy will be the tad team. Edge & Masters win due to something stupid..
WWE Champion John Cena vs. Kurt Angle vs. Kane, Big Show, or Shawn Michaels - HBK gets the vote, and Kurt Angle will win the title(but will lose it the following Raw
(Edge voice) BANK ON IT!

Just out of curiosity: How do you guys think Vince will try to fix this whole situation with the two injuries and Christian leaving? I read somewhere that both Edge and Kane would be working the show despite being hurt, but what about afterwards? And will Christian be replaced, or will the voting become a 4-way affair?

He's still on the site as of right now, but I don't know if the firing incident will garner enough sympathy for him to get enough votes for it to even matter. As popular as Christian is on these boards, he's nowhere near as over as Hardy, Mysterio, or even Baldcore (who always gets an amazing-sized pop for a guy who's been pretty much a mid-card life,) not to mention they're pushing JBL hard to get votes (though I don't see how this is going to work, ie it won't.) So yeah, my perdiction is that either way Christian is going to be in the bottom two as far as votes go so this will be a non-factor. Unless he like poops in Steph's mouth tonight or something. That would get him over.

As of this moment, it REALLY looks like this PPV is starting to unravel. Batista in place of Austin, the nonsensical inclusion of Goldust and Vader, Edge kinda injured, Kane kinda injured, Christian appearing on the show non-contracted, and Coach in a match.
In fact, the only thing that seems like it may make the most sense in terms of the buildup and the end result... is Triple H vs. Ric Flair. It's currently the ONLY match on that card that makes sense and makes me look forward to it.

I'm still looking forward to the card. And Batista being on it is obviously a boost.

I missed a lot of RAW last night and now I hear the Austin/Coach thing is now Coach/Vader/Goldust vs. Batista. What's up with that?

Oh dear. Oh dear, oh dear indeed.
This PPV has all the makings of a potential train wreck. Two injuries, two people on the card leaving the company. Three last-minute nonsensical changes to ONE match (Vader, Goldust, Batista) and the fact that the main event, tag team champs and Trips vs. Flair stipulations are already set for sure. The interpromotional match will most certainly feature Mysterio, who's been in the spotlight in just about every invasion angle done in recent weeks.
Now, if Carlito beats Foley (which may well happen) and Candace wins the Battle Royal this PPV is all set to be included into the annals of Wrestlecrap as the clusterf*** of the year. They'll need to work really freakin' amazing matches if they want to cover up all the promises they've broken so far.
I will certainly not be buying this. Still, a part of me would want to, in a frightening, slow-down-to-see-the-car wreck-kind of way.

They really need to do something to save this whole thing. I dont know exactly what, but something to keep the fans from rioting.
Lets review......
Austin vs Coach: ok......so Austin is out because of the retarded booking, now we have the WORLD CHAMPION jobbing to Coach who for some reason beyond my understanding has Vader (Vader? seriously?) and Goldust (hmmm...... wonder if Big Dusty had anything to do with this) If Batista does job here, you might as well take the belt and light it on fire because there goes its credibility
Title match: where the E is trying to force feed HBK as the vote in
HHH/Flair: the only hope of a great match, but the stip is being rammed down our throats
Tag title match: with one of the challengers badly injured
Raw vs Smackdown match: one of the 5 possible guys leaving the company, (also, theyre trying to force feed the voting there too)
Foley vs Carlito : could be good, Foley will likely do the J-O-B
Womens match: .....and um....... yeah
Eugene vs Conway: (see womans match)
