In your opinion R.D What angles or wrestlers started off as being pure, 100 percent Wrestlecrap but over time, they improved and actually became enjoyable to watch or see?

I'm not RD can I add my 2 cents?
Eugene!
Knowing WWE were doing a retarded character was bound to be the Samba Simba of the handicapped - but to their credit (amazingly), Eugene was not! I think a lot of credit goes to Nick Dinsmore for making Eugene a believeable character with a lot of nuance. He was over like Grover.

Eugene for sure. As a OVW watcher, when I first heard about that, and knowing Dinsmore's in ring work, I was for certain that it wasn't going to work. But garsh darn it, it sure did. Still to this day, I shout with pride, 'TRIPLE H IS MY FAVORITE WRESTLER!' or, 'Ricky Steamboat did a armdrag.'

i'll throw in the classic example of The Undertaker. A wrestling zombie...who draws power from an urn being held by a pale man named Paul Bearer...that feels no pain...but got amazingly over.

Eugene, definitely. I'd also say the Hurricane. I thought it was a completely, completely stupid idea to have a "superhero" in the WWF, but Shane Helms completely threw himself into the character. Granted, he's not winning any world titles, but neither will Eugene.

Doink, the idea of an evil wrestling clown sounded dumb until I actually saw him wrestle. Then he turned into crap by becoming a face.

Simon Dean could very easily get there if he recieved a proper push....I could see him as being the 21 century Honky Tonk....

Honky Tonk Man. A wrestling Elvis impersonator. Yet, Wayne Ferris created one of the most memorable wrestlers of the eighties. Another example of a talented performer making a goofy idea work to perfection.

the heel heat that HTM got from the fans was just unreal I'm talking Ric Flair "Will someone give this guy what he's got coming to him" kind of heat.
