I noticed the post on the foums about how well wrestling books have sold lately and it had Death of WCW as having sold 6,800 books
I was wondering if this was above your expectations or if it was a dissapointment?

I'm not R.D. (of course) but if you look at the sales figures you'll also notice that it's the highest selling non-WWE released wrestling book.
That's pretty good I think!

If he was Smart he'd ask to WWe to do it for him, when he agreed to work the Hall of fame ceremony and help get Hogan in.

I don't really care about the number sold. What I care about is that Bryan and I wrote something that entertains people. That, to me, is success. Whether it sells 50 copies of 50,000,000 copies, if it entertains people, then I've done my job. I should mention, though, that number is completely inaccurate. I know where it came from (a newsletter, but not Dave's or Bryan's), and it is so far off as to be laughable. It's actually quite absurd that it is so far off. RD

We're into our third printing, which would mean we're over 14,000, probably closer to 15,000...

That is great. I am in the middle of reading it again actually, as the stupid things that WCW did still amaze to no end. Sometimes I thought the storylines were being written by a mouse with a pen glued to its head.

I'm a cheap ass, RD. I got it from the library and read it cover to cover in less than 48 hours. However, I sort of redeemed myself because I bought it for my brother's 30th birthday gift. He too enjoyed it beginning to end. But, hey, I bought the first book, so I'm not that cheap.
I think whhhoever printed the original sales figure has an ulterior motive, and thhhey were quick to point out that HHH's Making the Game sold 19,000 copies. My guess is that someone doesn't want to believe that thhhey've got some stiff competition.
By the way, I absolutely love how you dedicated The Death of WCW to Hunter and Steph.
