I enjoyed it, too, but then again I was like four when I watched it. I saw a repeat on Boomerang a while back and I wasn't sure what I was thinking.
Of course, if we're talking awesome 80's cartoons than NOTHING beats Thundercats (can't wait till the DVD release in August).

A good target would have been Rubik The Amazing Cube, the 80's toon devoted to the freakin Rubix Cube. And on the topic of the cartoons . . . Was I the only one who instantly thought of Shiek and Duggan getting busted for posession on the side of the road when they saw that? Iron Shiek and Nikolai Volkoff star: Rock & Wrestling & Loathing In Las Vegas.

The Pac Man cartoon! Wasn't their a Q-Bert cartoon, too? And maybe one for Donkey Kong? It feels weird to have just brought up Q-Bert.

Damn, I was trying to make it look like a complaint thread, you know, about him updating less frequently?
And Donkey Kong Country had it's own cartoon.

Not sure what this thread is all about. Dave said something about the updates or something, but I all I saw was something about the Pac-Man cartoon, witch, in one of the best things to ever happen in my lifetime.

All those video game ones were part of a block called Saturday Morning Supercade. There were also ones later for Pole Position and Kangaroo.

When I saw that, I was laughing my ass off at it for some reason, but I couldn't rightly place why.

We need to remake that movie with wrestlers. Jake Roberts as Hunter Thompson and Rikishi as the 500 pound Samoan attorney?

For bad cartoons back in the 80's, what about that one where the kid could turn into a car?
I also remember Captain N the Game Master. That one was a classic...

I think captain N was the only video game cartoon that incorporated other game companies characters into one show. Konami with castlevania, capcom with mega man. I admit the show started to crap when they added gameboy. To this day i hate the clunky green screened character. If he was Gameboy sp, then I 'll think highly of him as he would be pocket sized and non visible.
The kid turning into car was alaso based on video game.. i forget which one maybe Enduro or something. Didn't the WWE plan to ado another cartoon series with their characters during the attitude era? I dunno.. i was thinking they would when jakks released those figures with weapons and armor. I picture the cartoon series being like th X-men cartoon pilot back in the late 80's drawn like G.I. Joe with Stone cold haviung a scoittish accent. The undertaker being the comapsionate leader and brian Pillman being the goofy loose cannon toned down 3 notches.

The kid who turned into a car was called Turbo Teen. When any of you get to remembering the drug trip that was Sid & Marty Krofft's Saturday morning shows, let me know. Ohhh sweet Electra Woman & Dyna Girl....

Remember Acclaim Heroes or something like that? Where this boy somehow brings video game characters from a Barbarian game, a monster truck game, a shooting game, a basketball game, and that one red tomato ball...thing...object...
Yeah?

^^ I don't remember much about the show, but I do remember that it was Bigfoot, from the Bigfoot game and one of the cops from Narc. The bad guys were lead by Big Boss from Narc. This cartoon was the "Gobots" to Captain N's "Transformers"...

That was The Power Team, a cartoon for the video game show Video Power. It had Johnny Arcade (the main character and host), Kuros from Wizards and Warriors (and the sequel, IronSword), Bigfoot (the former King of the Monster Trucks), Tyrone from Arch Rivals (the basketball game), Kwirk (that's the tomato; he had his own puzzle game) and Max Force from NARC.
Wow, I know too much. XD
