me and some guys were having a discussion about wrestling home towns and no one is sure about this one.
Is Terry Funk really from Indiana? He's always been billed from Texas, but I remember a couple years ago reading a newpaper article about one of his many retirement matches taking place in Hammond. I think it said he was born there. Do you know what I'm talking about?

Crazy Rose, You are 100% correct in the thought that Terry Funk was born in Hammond, Indiana. I found that interesting, because he embodies so much of Texas that I would have been surprised if he was born anywhere else. I looked it up on Google, and sure enough, I was surprised! "Terry Dee Funk was born in Hammond, Indiana, on June 30, 1944, named after the comic strip character from Terry and the Pirates. In 1948, the Funk family relocated to Amarillo, Texas..."www.caulifloweralleyclub.org/2005Awards-TerryFunk.html
