Actually its the guy on the intro that rips his shirt doies a walk in and belittles the plkayer who won the championship. Then enters the ring for a challenge and goes into that stoopid 1,2,3 rap song.
I only got him once with Hagger buit for some odd reason with everyone else I got the gang.

You're really not kidding? Nope he's not kidding. If your were lucky to be unbeaten, the dude would come in. But most of the time ya got the whole gang. I thought well there will be another match but then it would just go to that 1,2,3 rap thing. I know they had a Saturday Night Slammasters 2 arcade game but I never saw it in any of the arcades around me. But that was the best game ever.

They had a Great Muta/Kabuki knockoff called "The Great Oni" as well. Had the mist and everything.

Is that the game that had some kind of exploding crap on the outside of the ring?

Is that the game that had some kind of exploding crap on the outside of the ring? Only on the Genesis version.

One would wonder if the WWE would incorporate landmines at ringside.
I can see it now, Chris masters makes his way down to the ring after that long intro but doesn't notice that self spawning landmine by the steps and explodes.

The Boss on Saturday night Slam Masters was Scorpion. He was fun to wrestle against. Yeah, and he was masked and did magic tricks. Err... That is to say, he had a winning stance in which he disappears and materializes, but still the similarity is uncanny. NO WAY !!!!!!!!!! Is this on the SNES version? I have the Genesis version. To this day, I had no idea there even was a Genesis version. I just assumed that it was an SNES exclusive. Now I'll have to find that. Incidentally, you could play as Scorpion in the SNES version too, but only in the tag tournament mode. You couldn't do it in single-player arcade mode. I really hated those old days of unplayable bosses. I'm glad those days have gone by the wayside. At least when they do that nowadays, they make it so that the bosses are unlockable and savable.

Yes a Genesis version did exist. It didn't have tag mode. It had Barbed Wire matches instead. It was called Death Match mode.

I played both versions of the game. The Genesis version was the only one that had an FMW-like Death Match mode, whereas the SNES version was pretty much Arcade perfect (Genesis version took out the Tag Team mode)
And the guy that attacks if you beat it without losing is named Ortega, he's playable in the sequel, Muscle Bomber.
And The Great Oni pwns you all!

I think the barbed wire matches had landmines throughout the ring. Yes, landmines.

Those Death matches used to be fun. I used to love tossing opponent into the exploding mines.
