Actually, given how reality kinda sideswiped some aspects, given what's happened, would you still go with Cole/Matthews? Foley/Matthews?

Yup. Cole/Matthews. I'm probably in the minority here, but I think Foley on color sucks. Too dry.
Jed f'n Shaffer ~In a perfect world, I'd tell JBL to re-retire and get back behind the table, but ...

Well, you'd have to get all those people who gave his wife death threats to offer total and sincere apologies since that appears to have been what got him back in the ring.

What if Bret stayed with WWF into 98 to continue a feud with Shawn, how would it affect screen time with Stone Cold, Mankind and The Rock?
What if The Kat stayed in WWF, Jerry would still be on the mic and Paul wouldn't have been commentator?
What if Warrior ever turned heel? They could do a story about how Undertaker awoke the evil within Warrior and he had an "evil version" of himself. They could have hired that Renegade guy to do it!

Loved your Armchair Booker for WWE, Jed! It'd be interesting to see what you have in mind for TNA and ROH, too. TNA, in particular: they're such a mess when they have so much potential. There's got to be some way of salvaging them.
Actually, I have a few ideas for RTB as well. Sorry if some of them have been said already, but here goes:
1. What if...Bret Hart had gone to WCW in 1996?
2. What if...Hulk Hogan had passed the torch to Bret Hart in 1993?
3. What if...Jeff Hardy had won the Undisputed Championship Ladder Match against Undertaker?
4. What if...Vince McMahon had accepted Eric Bischoff's challenge to step into the ring?
5. What if...Kurt Angle had wrestled for ECW? (either the Raven/Sandman crucifixion incident didn't happen, or it DID happen, but Heyman was somehow able to convince Kurt to stay)
6. What if...Steve Austin had won the ECW Heavyweight Championship?
7. What if...Shawn Michaels hadn't injured his back at the 1998 Royal Rumble?
8. What if...Eric Bischoff had succeeded in buying WCW in 2001?
9. What if...the MSG Curtain Call hadn't happened, and HHH hadn't been de-pushed?
10. What if...the Bret Hart/Steve Austin Match at Wrestlemania 13 had been for the WWF Heavyweight Title? (here, Austin had succeeded in helping Bret win the cage match against Sid on Raw, rather than Undertaker helping Sid win)
11. What if...Arn Anderson hadn't suffered his career-ending neck injuries?
12. What if...Roddy Piper had actually won the WCW Heavyweight Title at Starrcade '96?

Ah crap, my link don't work anymore. Dammit. Still, perhaps a T-Shirt Hell shirt would suffice, as buyable from the link in my sig?

Hopefully some of them are at least halfway original, though. ;P A Hogan/Hart one especially would be intriguing, imo. That could've been such a good, historic moment for the WWF: the two biggest babyfaces in the company, with the lead star of the 80's putting over the lead star of the 90's. Bret could've gotten a huge rub to boost his early championship years, and the transfer to the post-Hulkamania WWF would have been smoother and maybe even not have led to such a slump in the mid-90's. Hart in WCW, the WM 13 Submission match being for the title, and Fusient buying WCW would be great, too.

The Undertaker had won the right to challenge for the belt. If Bret wins the belt then Hart/Austin does not happen instead we get Hart/Taker. Oh, yeah, because he was the last one eliminated in the Fatal Four-Way at In Your House, right? Well, in that case, just go back further and change that so Vader and 'Taker were the first two eliminated and Bret beat Stone Cold in the final two, thereby leading to Austin being named the No. 1 Contender. After that, Bret either doesn't lose the title to Sid at all, or he loses the title to him or someone else but regains it in time for WM. Thus, it's Bret vs. Austin for the title at 'Mania. What actually happens there in the main event and in the months after Wrestlemania would be up to Jed. In that case, the title could be more along the lines of "What if...Steve Austin had become the No. 1 Contender at In Your House: Final Four?"
