This is possibly a crazy guess, but I say.... The Rock. Not a crazy at it may seem because this is about the time the movie he is currently filiming is nearing completion and he did mention doing something with WWE after that.

I'm sorry to say this but I think it'll be Michael Cole, his character seems to have already began to change in preparation. If the reports that Vince likes Matt Striker are true that will allow him to move to Raw.
I'm hoping for the Great Khali myself, there'll be a chance for a great storyline when Ranjin Singh gets power hungry and mistranslates what Khali says for his own benefit.

I would love to see Ranjin Singh as the new GM of Raw. Have him be a face GM and like in old ECW have be the Tod Gordon and whenever a heel gets out of control have his enforcer The Great Khali control things ala 911.

Hopefully it's a face GM. I kind of thinking they move Teddy Long to Raw and Vickie gets Smackdown. But it could be Tiffany. I'd mark for Dusty to be GM

I'm all for the idea of a "president" like character (a la Jack Tunney) coming back. I think the natural choice for the role probably would have been Ric Flair, but since THAT's scotched now, probably the closest you'd get would be either Ricky Steamboat or Terry Funk.
But man oh man....if they're gonna stick with the GM thing....I'd mark like hell for Vader as GM. Just the thought of him in a business suit and his Vader mask is hilarious. ;D

Bret will be the GM, he'll vacate the US Title and set up a tourney.

Ive said the following 2 things several times: A) It will be Vickie, to the delight of nobody B) The Heel Authority figure is overdone to a maddening degree. The GM concept itself is stale. Give me a Tunney-like figure. Please If it was Vickie then (kayfabe) why would WWE Headquaters tell Buzz that Vickie had resigned and there would be a new GM the next week? Even in terms of pointless swerves, that would make no sense at all. I think it might be HHH.
