neither, hero's wouldnt fight each other without a reason. Have you ever read a crossover? Whenever 2 or more heroes meet for the first time they always start fighting.

Of course they work it out....after they spend several minutes pounding the ever loving crap out of each other......

Also, something else I'd like to point out, most of MARVEL's characters are always in a team. MARVEL's guys rely a lot on teamwork to get the job done. DC, however, has all their teams made up of heroes that can clearly get the job done on their own. They just use teamwork when they really need to or if they want the fighting to end quickly. Uh... what? How on earth do you figure that? Marvel is filled with solo hero stories, and even perennial team-players like Hawkeye and Thing have had solo comics from time to time in which they've done just fine on their own.

Honestly if anyone should get pulled it's Daredevil. ![:P](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/tongue.png) Nah, because it unbalances the street level characters too much. Daredevil is there along the lines of Robin, Bats, and Arrow. Marvel's side is Cap, Daredevil, and at a stretch Wolvie and Punisher. Ghostrider can fight Deadman or Entrigan, possibly Blue Devil. How this would go down. Both sides rush in, Frank Castle stands back and snipes. He shots Hal in the head and goes and steals his ring and kills everybody. even if Castle manages to kill Jordan theres no way he has the will power to wield the green power ring. he may possibly use a red or yellow but not green

That is nuts. Just because he is kind of Psycho doesn't mean he doesn't have will. The dude keeps going through everything that happens to him, he breaths will power.

JLA/Avengers was a very good take on this.
DC was made up of more powerful characters, but the Marvel characters had a rougher time in their universe so they fought harder. Still DC would have run roughshod over Marvel were it not for Scarlet Witch unleashing Deus Ex Machinas. Supes had trouble with Thor but was able to beat him barely before the rest of the avengers ganged up on him. DC still more or less won.
So in the end, I have to go with DC. They have faced bigger odds and come out triumphant. And they are world of cardboard powered when it comes down to it.

Uh... what? How on earth do you figure that? Marvel is filled with solo hero stories, and even perennial team-players like Hawkeye and Thing have had solo comics from time to time in which they've done just fine on their own. Some of MARVEL's biggest characters are usually only seen fighting in groups. Gorups like the X-Men, the Fantastic Four, the Avengers. Now they do have some solo guys, yes, but most of their guys are nearly ALWAYS in a group. DC is different. Yes damn near every DC hero is part of some form of a Justice League, but at the same time damn near each and every one of them has had at least one solo series and have proven they can fight on their own. Most MARVEL guys haven't proven this, since they mostly fight in teams. Not that there is nothing wrong with fighting in teams, as it would certainly give them an edge in a 11 on 11 fight, but once the sides dwindle down to where it gets harder to do teamwork, on account almost everyone is dead, I don't know if most of the MARVEL guys can hold their own in a one on one fight. Granted, their A-listers can totally do that, I'm talking about some of their B-listers and definitely anyone on the C-list and below.

That is nuts. Just because he is kind of Psycho doesn't mean he doesn't have will. The dude keeps going through everything that happens to him, he breaths will power. Frank does have Willpower, however, how the emotions work is the strongest emotion you feel is your dominate emotion. Frank's dominate emotion is Rage. He could wield the green ring, but he'd be his strongest with a red ring. Hell, he probably wouldn't even be able to do more than simple energy blasts with a green ring. For example, Hal Jordan can wield a yellow ring thanks to being the host of Parallax a long time ago. However, since his Willpower is greater than his ability to cause Fear, he can't properly use yellow rings. All he can do is simple energy blasts and give himself a protective aura so he can survive the vacuum of space. Similar thing would happen with Frank. He'd be able to blast people and breathe in space, but he can't use the ring's greatest power, the ability to create constructs. Though, it was recently revealed that the Red Lanterns can form constructs as well, after some training. Plus one of the signature attacks of the Red Lanterns is running up to someone and throwing up a burning hot magma like plasma in their face, burning them to death. That's something I could totally see Frank Castle wanting to do.

lol i love these discussions,. many of the DC guys are as they were made by a child - "well my guy is superstrong, AND faster than light, AND cant ever die so nyah" .
batman should be dead within seconds of any fight against hulk, thor, surfer, torch, ghostrider....but there is the argument that he's the smartest and best fighter and so on and would find a way to survive. complete bollocks
flash can do nearly anything because of his speed
seriously half the DC team could be wiped out by torch going supernova, or surfer blasting them from space. but oh wait! superman has supercold breath to extinguish torch (see how mary-sueish the DC guys are?)
so onto it:
Thor strikes the water with lightning - aquaman dead
hulk and thor occupies superman and superboy while torch and surfer blast the DC heroes from a distance - all dead except WW, flash, batman
batman disables ironmans systems, because he just knows everything and knew just how to do it
WW breaks spidermans neck
at this point, supermn and boy, WW, torch, surfer, thor are in the sky - punisher, cap america, and wolverine are left on the ground like the over matched turds they are, along with the hulk who loses his shit and kills them all *quickly*. batman survives by hiding under a bush, then removes the gamma radaiton from banner because he is the gretaest engineer and philosopher of all times and knew what to do. he then kicks banner in the balls . he also kills flash just to show he can. he then defeats daredevil in a hearing contest, because he's the goddam batman
ghost rider drives off, the whole time the voices nagging him about what a failure how he has no ambition and will be low-middle management his whole life
superman/boy use their rancid cold breath to smite the torch, he dies of a heart attack before he hits the ground
WW tries to block thors hammer with her wrist watch but he smashes her hands - superman now angry (no more hand joobs) attacks and kills thor. the supers, boy and man, begin to wonder why they are there, is he my son, or my young self, why are they continueing his story if im grown up? this allows surfer to use his godlike powers to begin to syphon the very life from the two superguys. just then Batman flies up in specially made armor, that he made just in case a being with this power cosmic ever cam, because he just knows, and drains the surfers power into his suit - because as the worlds greatest scientist, executive , lover, kung fu master, he can defy even the most powerful beings in the galaxy, even if he has never seen them before he knew what to plan for. so BAtman kills surfer
the end

Except one problem. Green Lantern's ring could allow him to survive Torch going super nova.
