The fact that Boise State didn't get a single 1st place vote saddens me alot. The fact Ohio State got 4 doesn't sadden me, it does disappoint me. I'm of the belief that the defending National Champion should be ranked number 1, every year. Granted Bama is ranked number 1, but I want to know what Ohio State did to deserve 4 number 1 votes. With everything Bama returns how can you not vote them number 1? This was a team that went undefeated, dominated Florida, and won the National Title. You could say they almost lost to Texas, but Texas got in that game because Bama took their foot off the pedal. When Texas had it close, Bama put their foot back on the pedal and put the Longhorns away. I'm not a Bama fan, but they've got to be number 1 going into the season. Of course I think the National Championship Game will be Bama vs Ohio State, not really going out on a limb there.

Iowa being that low is astounding, and really confusing as well.

So, looking at WSU's schedule...maybe another 2 win year, bringing up the total amount of wins in my 3 years there up to five. Yep. Football's great up here in Washington. Screw all you in the SEC, Big XII, Big 10, Big East, ACC, WAC, MWC, The rest of the pac-10 with your "winning programs". I'll take my victories against Southern Methodist and Montana State, and leave it at that.

I'm just hoping the team can do whatever it is they did last year to beat them. And if they fall to SMU, the Apple Cup is in Pullman this year, and WSU's won 2 of the last 3 in Pullman.

If my ncaa 11 dynasty follows the actual season then SMU will beat WSU 28-21. Ofcourse SMU also went undefeated and lost to Florida State in the Orange Bowl so i wouldnt put to much stock in that

I'm gonna call it right now. Boise St. will go undefeated, but will not be in the National Championship game.
Also, boo-yah, Huskers at No. 9. Let the smack talk begin! We are taking the Big XII crown this year. And then we're leaving.

I like how they were like, "Nebraska will have the longest trip at 640 miles. Purdue will have the shortest at 65 miles." They forgot to add, "Shame Purdue won't get anywhere near it."

If they do East and West, I'd say Indiana could be farther east, but I'm not sure, as I haven't really looked at a map to see who's farther East or West. But it will be neat to see Nebraska and Iowa face off more often.

If they do an east-west alignment, both Indiana and Purdue should be in the East, along with Ohio State, Penn State, Michigan, and Michigan State. The West would consist of Nebraska, Iowa, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Northwestern, and Illinois.

There is no clear North and South like with the Big 12 but it would be way too one sided if they did a East and West as the West champions would be usually Nebraska or Iowa every year and the East would pretty much just be a throw up between Michigan, Penn State and Ohio State. They should just draw from a hat and call them Divison 1 and Divison A.

I have tickets to the Iowa State game and the Northwestern game, and am planning on getting tickets off a scalper to the Ohio State game. The way I see it, as long as the Hawkeyes destroys Northwestern I don't give two shits if Ball State blows Iowa out.

So its only like an 8 hour drive or a 150 dollar flight. If I lived in the midwest I'd have season tickets every year. Ever since Millen got to the Lions (Go Lions!), the Hawkeyes have been the only thing I could root for in the fall.
