King James the 4th of Scotland. I'm his 13x direct great grandson. Nice. My clan were a ruling clan in Scotland. Basically, it means they were Scottish nobility/royalty. They owned several castles. Some of which still belong to the clan and can be visited in Scotland today. The funny thing is, my clan got bored doing practically nothing thanks to them being nobles so....they became mercenaries. They would sell their services to anyone who could afford them. Hell, remember how earlier in the thread I said I am distantly related to William Wallace? My clan fought in Wallace's rebellion. They were on his side the entire time, but Wallace had to pay them money to get them to fight. It was kind of a dickish move on their part, but like the Joker said in The Dark Knight, "If you're really good at something, you won't do it for free." And my clan was good at kicking ass with claymores.

One of my cousin's on my Dad's side of the family was on TV yesterday. He was in the main event of Summerslam and we always teased him about his goofy hairstyle and you may know him as the Black John Cena.

So can everyone here prove these things? Not saying to strangers on the internet, but say for your own curiosity? Or are these family stories?

Mines very easy to prove given that he is only two generations removed from me. In fact I have a picture of my grandmother sitting beside him when they were children hanging in my front room. I also have several pictures that he painted of monument valley while he was working and living out west.

So can everyone here prove these things? Not saying to strangers on the internet, but say for your own curiosity? Or are these family stories? Mine can be proven. Both my father and uncle have spent years doing geneology. And it's rather easy to trace back grand-fathers in a straight line for the King James thing.

Actress Piper Laurie is my Great Aunt. Does she have great Carrie stories? I honestly couldn't tell you. Apparently I met her when I was very young, but I don't remember it. She still talks to my Grandma sometimes from what I understand though. Also of note is that someone on my Dad's side was an executive at Motown Records back in the day and helped The Jackson 5 get their record deal. My cousin is photojournalist David Torch.

One of my cousins (on my mom's side) is married to the president and founder of Under Armour, Kevin Plank. I even got to meet Plank in person, and had my picture taken with him.
