I think there's some arrangement where he has to pay allimony to Matt Hardy, too. Not quite sure how that works...

I love how Lance Cade is making so much more then his partner Trevor.
Also, as for Matt Striker, keep in mind he was a NYC school teacher before he got fired for wrestling on his "paid" days off, so $40,000 is probably a lot more then what he was making before. Sad, but most teachers get paid shit.

When Eddie was rehired in 2002, he was started out at the same salary as any new WWE recruit and was working his way up the pay chain.
Might also explain why Vicki has to do this storyline.

Is this after taxes or something? If not, Ashley is getting cheated out of her $250,000.

Torrie Wilson: $260,000 Val Venis: $210,000 that made me cry She gets paid per apearance as well. Usually something like that gets a good 25.000 for her...and with him not on TV or even Heat much...downside pay..

When Eddie was rehired in 2002, he was started out at the same salary as any new WWE recruit and was working his way up the pay chain. Might also explain why Vicki has to do this storyline. Exactly. Plus when Eddie came over to the WWE, Edge had been there a couple years already, so he's had more "seniority". Plus, looking back on their time, Edge put his body on the line a whole lot more than Eddie did (as in more TLC/Table/Ladder/Hardcore matches). And also, that ended in Feb. 06, about 4 months after Eddie's death. So there's 4 months of pay not on there that he would have gotten. It's the same reason why Striker and Murdoch aren't seemingly getting paid much since they came into the company near the end of this cycle. I have to believe it's real, if only for the fact that trying to make this detailed of a list up would take a ridiculous amout of thinking and planning and wouldn't fit the bill of a fake. I mean, if someone would fake it, why not downgrade everyone's salary except the top guys to make the WWE look bad.

^the Rock is rich enough from the amount of movies he made. I hope he doesn't get paid another dime.

I believe some of these, but some seem a little low. Matt Striker, for instance? How could he even survive on 40k a year? After you factor travel expenses and taxes, it seems like Striker would be better off paying WWE for the right to wrestle for them. This has been posted before, and remember that if you read carefully you will see that $40K is what Striker was paid for his first 5 months in WWE. Therefore he is on track to make about six figures his first year and undoubtedly more now.

I'm no expert but I'm pretty sure WWE covers basic travel expenses like coach-tickets and a room at the Ramada for all the workers. The bigger wrestlers just get upgrades from that. If you have to travel for a company it is general practice for them to pay for it. I don't imagine the WWE is any different. Considering these folks basically live on-the-road the low folks on the totem-pole couldn't keep their head above water if they had to cover all those expenses themselves as well as keep their permanent residence. Actually WWE doesn't, and you're absolutely right that it is pretty controversial as there are plenty of salesmen with better deals than pro wrestlers in terms of travel. That's why you see a lot of 250 lb wrestlers cramming into a mid-size sedan together and staying in budget motels.
