God they finally get something good going, they finally have a good match and the whole thing is tanked as Jeff and Rob become EY's lackeys....One step forward, three steps back.
Worst. Impact. Ever

Good episode tonight, they could have had something done with The X division, like a confrontation between Williams and Kaz over each man's style but you can't have everything. I'm a bit surprised there was no Angle or Anderson either.

Ive missed RVD matches. I know a LOT of people have a beef with his style, but dammit if that guy isnt exciting to me.

I was debating watching wrestling tonight after trying to watch it last week and turning both shows off a good 15-20 minutes early. I tuned into Impact and pretty much kept it there most of the night. Whenever I turned it to Raw, it was either a video package of something that happened a week or two ago involving Cena and/or Batista or something boring (the Divas match) or something stupid (Kane dragging Pete Rose into his locker room and getting in the mood with a cartoon sound effects CD).
But I'm honestly shocked at how good Impact was. It wasn't perfect (the commercial break placement, especially during the main event, STILL pisses me off to no end) but it was the best show they've had in a long time. I never thought I'd say this any time soon but I'm actually glad I watched TNA.

much like all Impacts to me anyway just utterly disappointing. They really need to rethink things because in my opinion competing WWE with a show that is basically a trashier version of Raw isn't working.

TNA was really solid tonight. Almost made me forget about the Main Event last night.

BTW, Masterful debut by Ed Leslie. Just a powerhouse performance all around. And the promo? Perfection. I laughed, I cried, I jumped out of my seat in triumph by the end! Bravo, good sir.

Impact tonight was one of the better episodes of the new era.
Pretty damn good show. A little too much Bischoff and backstage crap, but all in all it was an exciting time.
Highlights for me:
Foley clocking Bubba The Love Sponge on his way out the door! Loved this.
Rob Terry retaining the global championship (it's great to see the second tier title defended on tv)
The single most awesome guitar head shot I've ever witnessed. That thing shattered over Bischoff's head! Loved that.
The announcement of Sting leading team Flair at Lockdown. Could this be another member of the new Horsemen? Hmmm? Interesting.
The main event. Beer Money is amazing. Just amazing. These guys are super-talented. I mean REALLY talented. And RVD...well you all know how I feel about him. Mr. Monday Night kicked ass like I said. And I've never been a fan of Jeff Hardy, but he had me poppin' a little tonight too. Great, great match. PPV quality match actually.
REALLY looking forward to the 6-man tag match next week with NWO vs. RVD/Hardy/Young. That should be great.
If you missed Impact, find somewhere to watch it. You missed out on a pretty great show. Was it perfect? Of course not. Too much Bischoff, too much backstage crap, not enough wrestling for me and Abyss was starting to annoy me until he cut that promo in the ring. And as I say constantly, that f'n crowd mostly sucks. But like I said, all in all it was a fun, exciting 2 hours you need to see if you're a wrestling fan.
That part with Hernandez was strange to see live. Was that a work or was it real, guys?....at least it looked real. I haven't read any reports on it yet. I hope he's okay.

For as long as he had the camera on him, Morgan staying in character as a heel and Homicide being out there makes me think work.

Best Impact in a long while.
Guitar Hero Eric Bischoff! Wheelchair Flair! Kick ass main event!
Also, I'm glad EY wasn't simply "sacrificed" for the Wolfpac reunion and that he'll be seeking some revenge.
