(Not sure if there are any official rules on posting these official threads... officially... but if so, and this one needs to be bah-leeted, no problem.) TNA Sacrifice emanates from the luxurious iMPACT! Zone at Universal Studios, Orlando, Florida, on Sunday, May 16, 2010. No matches officially announced yet, but the TNA mini-site is up at www.tnasacrifice.com . The one thing I'm hoping for, that I really dug about last year's event, was the "what are you willing to sacrifice" aspect of the main event. The winner gets the title, and whoever takes the pinfall loses something... anyone think they'll do the same thing? Abyss putting the ring on the line? Maybe AJ puts his association with Flair on the line? Really opens up a whole new world of possibilities... ------- Card as of May 4thTNA World Title MatchRob Van Dam (c) vs. AJ Styles TNA X Division Title MatchKaz (c) vs. Douglas Williams TNA Tag Team Title MatchMatt Morgan and a partner to be chosen by Hogan vs. Ink Inc. TNA Knockouts Title MatchMadison Rayne (c) vs. Tara {Stip - Title vs. Career} Jeff Hardy vs. Mr. Anderson Sting vs. Jeff Jarrett

most likely the main event will be Styles vs. RVD. But it would be cool to see it become a triple threat with Abyss being added.

Please no, keep Abyss far, far away from the title. Just do RVD vs. Styles with AJ having to put something on the line. The association with Flair is a good idea, since it can get Styles away from Flair and he can go back to being himself.

Anderson v. Pope seems to be happening as well, based on tonight.

I hope they do the "Ulitimate Sacrifice" stips again.
I'd love for RVD to put the title on the line against Styles, but Styles has to sacrifice Flair's mentorship if he loses.

Well let's see. In theory Anderson almost needs to beat Hardy to set up a #1 contender for RVD. I'm assuming Van Dam waxes AJ again...no reason to not think he would. The tag title match is just sad given the solid teams not on the card thus far (MCMG, 3D, Beer Money). The X match is basically to job out Doug Williams for real this time. Tara will be gone, so the knockouts match isn't in doubt. No idea what to think of Jarrett vs. Sting. It has to be better than Halloween Havoc 2000 though. Right?

Since the next ppv is Slammiversary, they don't need just 1 top contender, they'll probably use the top 4 ranked wrestlers for KOTM, also it looks like we'll probably get BMI/Band vs MCMG/3D or maybe a 10 man tag with Young & Lethal as their partners.

Should be a good pay per view. I'm excited to see what they do with these matches.

So I haven't seen Impact yet, I wait till the reply, sadly, but why is it Anderson/Hardy? I thought they were leading towards Anderson/Pope?

The PPV is next week, right?
It seems there's been close to no hype, especially compared to Lockdown.

What's it say about TNA that not only did I think this was tonight, but I didn't care enough to check results?
