He looks so much older minus the hair. And I also notice an uncanny resemblance to Norman Smiley that I wasn't previously aware of.

Sabu vs. Abyss Round 2. YES PLEASE. Seconded. He did some good stuff in TNA. I don't see the harm. My fiancee, who is a massive Sabu mark, should be thrilled as well. She's been wanting him to return for about a year now.

I saw the thread title, and I immediately hoped it would be Sabu. Sabu going back to TNA would make me very very happy.

So TNA wants to try and capitalize on WCW, WWE and ECW's success.
I've said it before, "TNA doesn't make stars - they buy them."

So, they put the belt on RVD, and Sabu is coming in...
Is it too early to wonder how long before party bus 2.0 happens?

I understand what you're getting at, but I disagree when it comes to Sabu. He has been in and out of TNA since 2002, and is partially responsible for what some consider to be one of the company's signature moments (the "Barbed-Wire Massacre" with Abyss). A guy with that kind of history deserves better than to be lumped with the Rikishi's and Test's of the world.

Oy, there was a lot of conflicting tenses in that last sentence.

Its funny because when TNA first restarted with Hogan it really seemed like they wanted to capture a casual audience, but Sabu is the kind of guy that would draw in hardcore (in both senses of the word) fans a lot more than casual. Oh well.

WHAT IS JAFFAR DOING IN THE IMPACT ZONE? Why did this make me laugh so hard? He should be managed by Tiger Ali Singh. They can bring him in as "Prince Abubu".
