If I could've trained to wrestle when I was 11 o 12 I would've been all over it. Sure as hell would've beat backyard wrestling.

So many people started with backyard wrestling that at this point it doesn't seem like a bad idea. Granted most of them will be stuck on the indy's, but that is true of most pro wrestlers in general.

We have a kid training with us, he started when he was 10, now he's 11, and we don't have him do anything THAT dangerous, I mean we slam him on a crash mat and snap suplex him (every move we practice, we do it on a crash mat, so you barely get hurt), he can do a headscissors, standing moonsault and standing Shooting Star Press. We'll accept anyone that's 10 or over to train, but we won't put them on shows until they're 16, so thinking about it now, this kid is gonna have 6 years experience already when he debuts on shows.
He's not bad at chain, but he gets bored with it easy and just starts messing around and beating on people with kicks and chops, which is a shame, because everyone needs to know how to chain wrestle. He actually said to me that he thinks practicing chain wrestling is boring. Then again, as I said, he is only 11 and i'm sure he'll grow out of it.
