Well when you own TNA then you can fire Russo. And you all are missing the point. I was just pointing out how it's hard to please you all. People on here are going to piss and moan after EVERY TNA ppv no matter how great the show is.

Very good show, IMO. I'm glad I ordered this PPV, and skipped WM 26. I disagree. I think this was a very good show. Angle/Anderson, Pope/AJ, and the main event sans the run-ins made this memorable. But Wrestlemania XXVI was just as good, if not better, IMHO. But that's not to take anything away from this show. - I was glad to see Kazarian win the title, even if through sketchy means. -LOVED Angle/Anderson. -Truly thought that Pope had it won with those two near falls towards the end. -Was happy the 3D/Outsiders match was kept short and had no BTLS in it. - Jeff Hardy once again provided a Holy S*** moment. LOL, so you disagree with me being glad I ordered this instead of Mania? I mean, Mania was cool and all, but Wrestlemania just didn't give me the same emotion that this show gave me. I think maybe 2 matches on Mania really wowed me. It shouldn't be like that for a "grandest stage of wrestling" show. As a whole, last year's and this year's Mania from top to bottom can't hold a candle to Lockdown 2010.

There was a span of about 30 minutes, between the final half of Angle vs. Anderson and The Pope vs. Styles match, that I was as into professional wrestling as I've been in a decade.
That is why I love TNA. They're the only wrestling promotion that makes me actually care about the product.

I know they aren't perfect, but I prefer the stuff they are doing to anything from Raw currently.

Just got back from the show. Haven't read the rest of this thread yet, but I hope everyone else enjoyed the show. This was a great show to be at live. Met Don West and Dixie Carter before the show. Don was working the main merchandise table and was making deals with people. It really was something to see. Both he and Dixie were incredibly friendly and took time to talk and take pictures, even though they were being swamped by people. The place was full, outside of the camera area, which they apparently didn't open to ticket sales. Why, I'm not sure.
The crowd was electric all night. I don't know how well it translated on TV, but we were LOUD. I can't tell you the last time I went to a wrestling event that everyone seemed to be having a great time at from start to finish. Crowd treated almost everyone like a star and went absolutely crazy for RVD, Beer Money, Team 3D, AJ, Pope, Flair, Hardy, Angle, Anderson, and Hogan.
edit: I don't think it aired on TV, but they introduced the Legends that were brought in for the Fan Interaction. Bobby Heenan, in particular, got a huge ovation.

From the pictures of him on the TNA website, I'm not so sure about that. He looked very gaunt and his jaw was really messed up.

Angle/Anderson rocked, second favourite match so far this year behind Taker-HBK.
Pope/AJ good, even though I feel that can step it up a further gear. I assume the feud MUST CONTINUE!
Rest ranged from decent-to-good, with only a couple crap matches. I don't get Nash beating Young and Madison getting the gold, nor the faces having the Lockdown reaction. Neither Flair nor Sting could be having to take tack bumps in 2010 either.
Good stuff though, much better than the other three PPVs this year for TNA.

Well, if Nash was gonna wrestle again in the show, I wouldn't have him lose the first match either. Although, I wasn't doubting a Nash win in the first place. Was a Young upset possible? Sure...but I wouldn't have bet on that.
I fully expect Madison losing the title to Velvet before the next PPV just cause that's the way this division is being booked.
I loved Angle/Anderson so much it even surpassed HBK/Taker for me and that's saying something.

It's fine that you ordered this show over Wrestlemania, different strokes for different folks. But what I disagree with is the idea that in order to say you enjoyed something TNA, you have to slant WWE for some apparent reason. I understand that you're one of the bigger critics of WWE over on the other board, and that's fine too. But taking blatant shots at one promotion to heighten your opinion of the other is just adding to the problem here on the boards, IMO. It works both ways, trust me, but I was just pointing that out, sir.

I went to the show last night and for the most part the crowd was pretty damn loud. Not as loud as WWF attitude shows from 97-2001 but pretty close.
I had to drive 3 and a half hours there and back. Got back at around 2 last night and it was totally worth it.
I'm guessing they papered a lot of tickets because there was a big part of the seats on the camera side that weren't filled at all. I don't know if they just didn't sell them or if they didn't sell that many. I heard they only actually sold about around 3,000 and there were more than that which is why I think they papered probably about a thousand or two.
Crowd responded big time to the Team 3D VS Outsiders match. It wasn't a great match considering Hall and Nash can't go as well as they use to but it was still awesome to see this surprise of a dream tag team match live. The crowd pretty much cheered for both because both have been around for quite a while. There were a sea of wolfpac hand signs in the crowd with Hall and Nash came out which just looked really cool.
Angle VS Anderson was easily the best match I've ever seen live. It had such a perfect ending.
People were really hot for Hardy when he came out. They went crazy when he put Storm threw the table on top of the cage.
I'm kind of dissapointed that Lethal, Daffney, and Samoa Joe weren't there but overall it was a pretty good show. Even seeing Hogan come out and beat up Flair a little was really awesome considering I was a huge Hogan fan when he was a face back when he could still go.

Its sorta weird, Observer reported 3k or so, but someone who called the arena said it was 5k or so

Having gone to both lockdown in st. louis (2007 & 2010) and also elimination chamber this febuary, I'll say that this was better than EC but not as good as the 2007 show I do have to say that my seat was right next to the ramp, and while outsiders and team 3d started brawling on the ramp, devon threw nash right to the rail right in front of me

I was probably sitting really close to you. I was the idiot who ran around and got the AJ chants going during the Pope/AJ match.

That's pretty remarkable considering the crowd was about 1/5 the size of the usual WWE crowd. That's what I love about TNA fans: they're always vocal and make for a great atmosphere.
