This show really suffered from no KOTM Match. That watch was a staple of the company. IMO, it's not Slammiversary without it.

So is the surprise that nothing surprising happened? Because that is indeed surprising.

Unfortunately, it looks like the only one who got a surprise was Roxxi, and she got the worst possible one.

Yeah, the ending was kinda anti-climatic & I wish KOTM was on the show, but overall it was a good show.

I'm glad there was no KOTM. It was such a weird match, and I always thought it was anticlimatic for someone to climb up and put the belt up there just to take it back down.

Samoa Joe was there that early? ;D You know this show really reminded me a lot of WCW pay per views in the late 90's. A good, strong, hot undercard leading to a nothing main event. A solid show without being spectacular. Edit: Wow 3000 posts....that's.....neat

OK just read the results. I can't believe all of the top heels lost tonight: Desmond Wolfe, AJ Styles, Beer Money and Sting all lost! Way to make your top heels look strong TNA. I wanted Sting would win the world title so his plan would unfold. I was hoping Mr. Anderson would turn on Jeff Hardy, but I guess they want him to stay face. It's a shame what happened to Roxxi. No Velvet Sky appearance at all. And the big surprise was Tommy Dreamer. Oh wow! It seems the only good things that happened at Slammiversary was Doug Williams retaining his X division title and Jay Lethal getting a big win.

I really feel bad for the guys having to wrestle in front of that crowd. I know it's been said millions of times but they have to get out of there. I hope that is Dixie's "big announcement." The way they acted during the Anderson match made me embarrassed to be a Orlando wrestling fan.

Well for myself I give it a 7.3 out of 10. There was some good matches like Kaz vs Angle The XD bout, Lethal vs Styles and BMI vs Anderson/Hardy. Did anyone else get reminded of Kano from Mortal Kombat when Anderson got busted open above his left eye? Sting vs RVD was anticlimatic though I dig the Iron man tights RVD wore. It did need King of the Mountain though, even a Prince of the Mountain for The XD title would've been fun.

I never like KOTM so I am glad it is gone. It came off to me as an overboked flustercluck every year, but it was a staple of the company and a part of it's identity then again so was the 6 sided ring

I'm sure they've done it before but just made me angry.

Eh, that was kind of clever. It's apparent at this point though that Sting is beyond washed up. He wrestles with a shirt now full time apparently and to be honest that was one main event that TNA probably should have overbooked even more than they did.
I am just wondering who RVD faces now. There aren't exactly many over heels at the moment. They may have to just go with RVD/Hardy again, or RVD/Anderson. Some of the guys in the top 10 are hurt (Pope) or didn't even wrestle tonight (Joe, Terry).
I wouldn't mind RVD vs. Abyss actually, provided they simply turn Abyss heel. Will they please let RVD actually have a hardcore match? His silly ring music has lyrics about Van Daminators and Van Terminators and he has yet to do any of this stuff.

I don't think a multi-man main event should be a guarantee at a PPV. That should play itself out instead.

The Angle/Kaz match was great & the X Title, AJ/Lethal & BM/EEA matches were really good & I don't have a problem with AJ & Sting losing, though I definitely think Wolfe should've won, but at least we didn't have to see Abyss hulkup again.

Wait, doing a chant to support the hot new face is an embarrassment to wrestling now?

Wait, doing a chant to support the hot new face is an embarrassment to wrestling now? Agreed. When you cut a promo calling your team the Enigmatic Assholes and the announce team refers to you as the Extreme Enigmatic Assholes I think it's okay for the fans to have some chants involving the word asshole, especially if they want them to win.
