For those who have watched Impact the last few weeks Abyss has been saying they told him to go batshit. Does anyone but me think the ECW guys is the they Abyss is talking about.

Could be. it would make sense that the ECW guys would stand against everything Hogan/Bischoff related. Would work great if Heyman came on board.

I thought so until Taz (or Tenay, whichever) mentioned it on Impact the other night. Now I doubt it.

The ECW stable is gonna end up being TNA's equivalent of a Ted face turn. Teased forever to the point that it loses all impact when it actually happens.

I assumed that it was when I first heard it, but man, what a let down it would be. I mean, he's teased that "they" are "coming". Well, with the exception of Dreamer, the rest of them have been working there for years!

Joe's also referred to "they" in his one promo that interrupted Impact and was never referenced again.

I think "They" being the ECW faction is a bit too obvious. Furthermore, it wouldn't make much sense, since the faction would likely include Raven and Stevie Richards, who Abyss had spent the tail-end of last year feuding with, so why would they have such a massive psychological effect on him that he would go apeshit on Hogan and tear through all the roster? He's already conquered them, so why would he fall for their shit again, unless Raven really is David Koresh or something.

What about Sting's whole "deception" deal? This was too interesting to leave on the table while he skips TV to save dates on his contract. What I am getting at is there are too many possibilities for "They". The ECW faction(that may or may not happen), Sting's anti-Hogan and Bischoff thing(if he has followers and if they go anywhere with it) and a mysterious third unknown entity...IT WAS ME ALL ALONG AUSTIN!!!! sorry couldn't help it.

This is TNA what we're talking about, Samoa Joe joined the MEM after an intense feud, and losing the chance to win the title at the same time

Yeah, this has all the makings of something TNA whispers of and then drops, or announces anticlimatically.

Yeah, I'm thinking that they'll just change their minds about the whole thing, or whoever they're trying to sign won't come in and and "they" will end up just being the voices in Abyss' head or some cop-out like that.

Seems too obvious to be true So it'll probably be Kevin Sullivan or something. Seriously, I kinda hope it is the Extreme faction, since that makes the most sense, and Abyss fits in with them like a glove.
