Yes, and I got the reference. I even have the DVD. IMO Black Sheep was better. Gotcha. Yeah, some people may try threats or violence. Ask the guy in your avatar.

Holy crap I finally caught up. Wow. This absolutely sucks if it is, in fact, true. WWE could/should have provided some career security for Bryan, and he could/should have turned into their Mr. Perfect/[insert mid-card broomstick worker] for years to come as the proving ground for elevation.
The occasional mention of a future re-hiring has me thinking about Eric Bischoff's book Controversy Creates Cash, specifically the chapter where he talks about Brian Pillman. He claims that their original plan was for a shoot firing to lead, in the long run, to a huge return. Basically, Pillman would live the "Loose Cannon" gimmick in ECW and see where the winds took him. And potentially, down the road, WCW would re-sign him. While WWE is most likely nowhere close to this kind of thought process, this situation might be a catalyst for similar events. Bryan leaves WWE with more momentum than could ever be imagined. He spends a few months building on it in whatever companies he shows up in. Then, WWE could consider bringing him back in a worked shoot, using edited S1 footage from NXT and the RAW {N}vasion - maybe just one "You're not better than me" followed by a kicking in of a f***ing head. So he takes the punishment with a handshake/Joe Smith-and-the-T-Wolves-type deal coming some time in the next couple months.

I don't feel like reading 38 pages of rants.... can somebody give me a breakdown of what we know? Like what we actually know, not fantasy bullcrap.I'm guessing it's just 3 words, "He got fired" but with all the stuff flying around, I don't know if that's the only actual news. HHH getting him fired in fear that AmDrag will be more over than HHH. Seriously he got fired is all we know, and half the people on here question that.

What we know is WWE.com is reporting that Daniel Bryan has been fired. The more respectable reporters, ie Meltzer, are saying it is in fact true and because a mysterious "higher up" felt like the Justin Roberts getting choked with his own tie wasn't "PG" resulting in WWE taking immediate action. Thats all we know for certain.

I lol'd. "Daniel Bryan is reinstated! You can remove the dynamite!" "It's not dynamite, it's road flares." "Did you live under power lines as a kid?" I think some of these people on here would use dynamite. I'd use hot dogs. Armor hot dogs.

IMO, Bischoff should have tried to work out an arrangement. Since this was probably impossible, he should have just been content with keeping Pillman on with his gimmick within the confines of WCW.

I'm kind of hoping this leads to a Matt Hardy like reaction.
Circumstances are just as screwy, and he developed a bit of a following with WWE fans after the entire storyline with Michael Cole.

SEND FOR THE MAN The kid thought it was as funny as the rest of us. I'm glad he didn't sell it or I would be worried for his safety in the home. But that guys reaction is hard not to laugh at. In 9 seconds, he summed up 100 plus threads worth the feelings.

If it is real, WWE has botched.
If it is fake, WWE has botched.

This was over on the Observer. Sorry if this posted before, but I don't feel like going through 39 pages of stuff:
At least it sounds like WWE was reluctant in letting him go, if this is true. Hopefully they'll quietly bring him back once all the heat dies down (or once Linda McMahon's political aspirations end), though it sucks that an outside sponsor could pressure the WWE into letting someone go like that.

If it is real, WWE has botched. If it is fake, WWE has botched. If it's fake, the E did perfect. It'd be the smark equivalent of Welles reading War of the Worlds.

I would just like to point out that we have hit 100 pages in just under 24 hours. Not counting PPV and Raw threads, that's gotta be a record.

Quid Pro Quo if you will.
