This was one of the best promos i've seen in a very long time for many reasons.
Mainly, Kane's performance. Outstanding emotion and delivery. The production of the promo was brilliant as well. Kane's music blending into a score which included hints of "Man on Fire" & "Rest In Peace".
This storyline might be slightly bizarre, but if it leads to more promos similar to this i'm all for it.
Did anyone else get a really big attitude era vibe from it or was that just me?

I loved the promo. The ending stuff about seeking vengeance was awesome and I got chills watching it live.

Yeah, the production value was top notch. They've learned much since trying the same thing with Matt Hardy last year. Great effort by Kane. Really sucks his storylines have been crap. When he's finally been given something to work with, he knocks it out of the park.

I get the feeling that if they do this right, it could be the big storyline to turn Kane into a genuine, believable force in the WWE again. It could also make for a great send off storyline for either Kane and the Undertaker if the timing is right.

I'd just like to add what has been said, great promo and overall performance from Kane.

Agreed. Having Rey win was a bad idea, especially since I bet people would have popped hard if Kane won and continued his angry vengeance quest.

Let's be honest about this....we all know the Russorific end of this storyline where it turns out Kane was the culprit all along. Then UT comes back, squashes him, and sets his sights on the title once more.

Good for him though. At least others thought it was good.

Wow, maybe it was just me but I thought it was awful, like the most hackneyed acting I've ever seen. Really now... But yeah, I thought the promo was excellent. This is wrestling and subtleties tend to go down like Rob Conway's music, so even the guys in the cheap seats need to see and hear what's going on. There was some legit, understandable emotion there and that's something that's very rarely seen in wrestling - outside of retirement ceremonies of course. Now I just hope this actually goes somewhere for the big guy.
