I didn'tlike the racist comment they made (and wish WWE would stay away from stuff like that), but other than that, the promo was ok. Race-related is not racist

I like them, I've liked everything I've seen from them in FCW and I have no doubt that they will do well, as long as creative remembers there's a tag team division for longer then 2 weeks. One problem I have though is, if your going to actually incorporate the fact that they are Rikishi's sons, then why is their last name still Uso? Shouldn't logically their last name be Fatu, since we do know who their father is? They've also mentioned that Chris Jericho's father is Ted Irvine (at least, I'm pretty sure they have), but nobody wonders why he's not called Chris Irvine.

"Cracker" can be a very racist word. I don't remember them saying cracker It sounded like they said it, and even my friends who were watching with me thought it. But I just re-watched the segment and didn't hear it this time. Disregard what I said before, it was a good promo.

I like them and there promo and getting the upper hand again. Yeah they were nervous, but I can't fault them for that, now if they keep sounding nervous in a few weeks then they'll have problem.

What I don't get about them is that if they re from a highly educated university, then why are they talking like they are from the streets?

What I don't get about them is that if they re from a highly educated university, then why are they talking like they are from the streets? I think the point they were making was that, even though they are from the street, they still got into prestigious schools and that's what makes them threatening. They're not part of the (white) establishment, but still have the credentials to be part of that world.

I honestly hope they drop the whole race thing. Not because it was bad but because it felt random and unneccessary.
It was good they got such a hot crowd to debut in front of, you could see their confidence picking up as the promo went on.

Promo was better than I expected. Though I'd keep Snuka's kid off the mic for the time being. It's a shame Carlito had to go and screw up. We could've had 3 actual tag teams on RAW.

Essentially, albeit subtly, the story is that Afa/the Wild Samoans/Rikishi/etc. aren't viewed as favourably as other wrestling families because they're not white. They totally didn't need to go down that road.

Rikishi was urban, ala Too Cool and Phatu (previous gimmick), and his sons have that same mentality

Samoans in wrestling have been criminally typecast as wild savages. It's understandable that they might have a few race issues. It's hard not to when you see promotions have your people, and members of your family, act like savages. I died a little inside when they were hyping the debut of Cryme Tyme and I have no connection to them outside of being Black.

They have potential, but for the love of God, keep the mic FAR away from Snuka's kid as possible.
