They probably didn't want to pay $20 for a shirt for their shrieking child. I'd rather just pay the $20 than be punched in the face by 9 other women. I'd rather take all 9 punches and a kick to the nuts. We're talking about a Cena shirt here. I could spend that $20 on a lap dance.

Plus you get touched by 9 women in the melee, so that plus the lap dance would be like a 2 for 1 special.

Oh they'd touch you alright... with clenched fists to the face and fingernails in your corneas.

To prevent similar incidents from happening, John Cena has been instructed not to throw his t-shirt out to the fans, but instead throw a plain white Hanes t-shirt with "Dru Mac and Tire" crudely scribbled on it with a sharpie.

Dude, screw the 9 women, I'd punch a 9-year-old to get my hands on that gem.

It took 20 minutes before it got broken up??? Christ, what were security doing?
In any case, glad to see those brawling fans took after their hero by showing hustle, loyalty and of course, respect.

They thought the brawl was part of the show. They didn't break it up for awhile.
These fans are plants! STUNT GRANNY is right there to grab Cena's shirt!

Worst of all, I bet Cena won the match. Sheamus won in a cage via Nexus interference

If anything, I'm suprised this happens so rarely. Every time someone catches a t-shirt on TV I'm expecting an epic brawl to occur.
Funniest thing I've seen with wrestler's giving their t-shirts and stuff to the crowd was at a houseshow when I was front row. HHH came over to some kid in a DX t-shirt and gave him his baseball cap. Now, I was expecting him to be thrilled, jumping up and down after getting HHH's hat. Nope. So then I thought maybe he was awe-struck. Nope. He just looked really, really bored. Ungrateful little sod!
