Just being devil's advocate for a second here, maybe they told the entire SES (gallows and mercury included) not to be seen in public drinking? Would this be any different than telling the Nexus to not sign autographs when they were out in public?

In other news, Jack Swagger will be fired for there not, in fact, being trophies that say "Jack Swagger" on them. And also for not using the lisp in public. Whats wrong with him, doesn't he know that people think wrestling is real? He is going to ruin the whole business doing crazy things like that.

I think it's pretty stupid after they spent years telling everyone kayfabe is dead and everyone knows it's just a show.

It's not like we expect Charlie Sheen to be a womanizer drunk just because we saw him be one on Two and a Half Men. Never mind the fact that he is in real life.

WWE has released Smackdown Diva Serena, who just made her official in-ring debut last Friday. I haven't heard anything further as of this writing. -Mike Johnson PWInsider.com I REALLY hope this isn't true, damnit! Gotta love WWE and their stupid, pointless releases.

From Pro wrestling Torch: PWTorch has confirmed the release of Smackdown Diva Serena (Serena Deeb). WWE has not made an official announcement on Serena's release at this point. Sources in WWE are saying the reason for Serena's release was because she was not "living out" the Straight Edge Society gimmick in public. Serena, who was inserted into C.M. Punk's SES group in January, had her last WWE TV match last Friday on Smackdown. The storyline for the match was that she would have been kicked out of the SES, along with Luke Gallows, if they lost a tag match to Kelly Kelly and Big Show. Serena and Gallows won the match to remain in the group on TV. Caldwell's Analysis: We haven't confirmed the following, but I wouldn't be surprised if the storyline in July where Serena was "caught on security camera" having a drink at a bar, followed by C.M. Punk questioning her "loyalty to the SES cause" was a message to Serena, with art imitating life. What's next for SES? It might be time to disband the group, with Luke Gallows and Joseph Mercury not adding to the group at this point, especially when they were fed to Big Show at Summerslam. The other option is recruitment or bringing in Darren Young, who was kicked out of Nexus on last week's Raw, and has history with Punk from NXT Season One. What's next for the thinning women's division on Smackdown? It might be in WWE's best interest to combine their Raw and Smackdown divisions and have one title, but they did take a look at developmental women's wrestler A.J. Lee on the weekend house shows as a potential call-up. Serena wasn't being utilized in the women's division anyways. Well that makes my argument even more logical. Should Ted DiBiase be fired if he doesn't go around to trying to buy people off? Should Drew McIntyre be fired if he doesn't ruin parties? Should Kane go around putting people in vegetative states? Those are really bad analogies. While the above examples obviously won't happen, I don't think WWE wants these guys to be blatantly breaking character, particularly if the SES have been told not to be seen in public drinking. A more apt analogy would be that they would not want Cody Rhodes to be seen with horrible hygiene as it would run counter to his Dashing gimmick.

No, my whole point is that wrestling is full of random characters. Why do they need to pick and choose which character can break kayfabe and who can't? If you want one person to stay in character, then all the others should stay in character as well.

Trying to enforce any kind of kayfabe in 2010 is extremely stupid. If you want to tell everyone you're a TV show act like.

Hmm Savannah and Serena (my 2nd and 3rd favorites) are now gone. Gail is likely gone soon according to a lot of rumors.
I shouldnt like these girls anymore, but in fairness, Ive liked Gail forever, so the other two I mustve cursed. From a purely selfish standpoint, Id like to see Gail back in TNA anyway, but she makes a lot more money doing what she does now for a lot less work.
Only two divas left that I like. Gail and Layla. Dont care about any of the others.

It'll probably end up that she had something to do with the Tiffany/Drew situation.
