I was just thinking about how he mentions it in his book and about how a topic always pops up every now and then on this forum asking for a link to it. Of course, a link never gets posted to the video, despite Jericho claiming it to be widely circulated. My guess is he was working us. IT just seems like a very Jericho thing to do. Mention a clip that in and of itself has nothing to do with actual wrestling or really anything of substance and make wrestling fans really eager to see it.

Well he was telling the truth about the Cornette Vs. Dairy Queen video, so I'd like to hope SKP exists too.

I was disappointed not to be able to find it. Damn you, Chris.

Well he was telling the truth about the Cornette Vs. Dairy Queen video, so I'd like to hope SKP exists too. Yeah, but most members of the IWC (and by most, I mean me) saw the Cornette video long before Jericho's book ever came out. However, I never heard of Strange Kentucky People prior to Jericho's book and it has remained as elusive as ever since Jericho's book was released.

What's this referring to?
I have his book, but I've never bothered to read it; same goes for Regal's and Bischoff's.

Strange Kentucky People? You mean like the guys that arrested him and Helms earlier this year?

As for whether or not he's working us? I don't think so. There's a lot of bats*** strange people out there in the world. I've met quite a few in my time. Ever see the movie "Gummo"?

I believe this to be true. Why would he make up something this insane, in an otherwise honest and sane book?

I believe Lance Storm confirmed it to be real.

Chris Jericho is an honest man and wouldn't lie about such things. I agree with Akeem, it does seem a strange thing to make up.

He mentions it has become somewhat famous online, which clearly it wasn't (not until after his book was released, at least).
Lance and Jericho are friends in real life, personally I think this is just a goofy work.
Edit - I read someone else who knew Chris Jericho during his SMW days saw the video as well. Now I am guessing that the video is real, just that he showed it to his friends and it wasn't traded like he said.

I know him or Storm said it was widely circulated in the tape trading days, but I've never heard of it showing up online

My personal favorite line:
"Did she think I'd watch it and become so enamored of her family that I'd come over for farts and crabwalks?"
I love you Chris Jericho.
