No Mercy is easily the best game for putting together spots IMO. I still have a tape somewhere of a match on No Mercy that me, my roommate, and our friend played. We each made custom ECW characters (I made Dreamer, my roomie made Sabu, and our friend made Raven), and we proceeded to have a 38 minute ladder match. I think the best spot in that match was when Sabuset up the ladder outside, and did a diving elbow off of the top of the ladder onto Dreamer in the middle of the ring. God damn, that game was awesome.

Disagree: WM 21 is the worst wrestling game ever of this genration, the only bad part of Raw 2 was really the no-selling and the slow counting refs. At least Raw 2 didn't have vanishing weapons, more than 4 weapons, and the ability to springboard off chairs. Moving on though to SvR '06 spots. My favorite spot that my friend and I do is that He hits the opponent with a shining wizard (his CAW's finisher), and I do a fivestar frogsplash for the pin. I also like doing an Extreme Leg Drop off the top turnbuckle or a ladder to an opponent on a table, breaking the table in the process. I'm guessing you didn't play career mode in RAW 2 where the guy you were feuding with (which for some reason was ALWAYS Crash Holly for me) would run into every last one of your matches, to HELP you? And then he could somehow win the title if he pinned someone in said match? Ok, yes there was that glitch, but to be honest because the CPU opponents would reach Hogan-like levels of invincibility it helped when 3 people ran in and beat the piss out of your opponent. My game doesn't suffer from other glitches...except for the disc being scratched up a bit and that affects entrances that aren't custom. But eh, I still find the hardcore and TLC matches a lot more entertaining than SvR '06 because of the multiple weapons aspect. But that's just me.

In SDvR 06: Set up a ladder near the ringpost on the inside so it is facing the stairs outside the ring (note: the stairs are in their original place and haven't been taken and used as a weapon). You climb up the back of the ladder so that your back is facing the stairs on the outside, and then your opponent climbs up the part facing the stairs. Then you suplex them off of the ladder and they land outside the ring onto the stairs still in place... I am not sure if many people have done that yet, I maybe be one of only ones here to have tried that. It is an awesome spot!

Oh trust me I'm not defending WM21. That was a horrible piece of crap. I owned it for 1 or 2 days and returned it and got my money back.

Emerald Frosion off the King of the Ring entrance set on SD: Shut Your Mouth, also various crazy dives from up there.
What was especially great was that even when you managed to hit your opponent with a diving move from a high place, you also took some damage yourself on most occasions. That was cool and added to the realism, so naturally Yuke's took that out of the game as soon as they could.

And nothing makes a spot more fun than having a friend impersonating JR while your playing That's always me. I'll even imitate Oklahoma when someone gets hit with the sledgehammer: "SHTICK! SHTICK! BAH GAWD SHTICK!"

I was playing as my custom puro wrestler Kudai against Kenta Kobashi. We were fighting outside the ring, and I managed to reverse a grapple and hit a half-nelson suplex, with Kobashi's neck landing right on top of the steps. Thing is, I wouldn't put it past Kobashi to actually take that bump.
But of course, nothing beats Jacknifing a guy off the MSG marquee and through a limo.

This is like a glitch. In Here Comes the Pain, as HBK, I Irish-whip Y2J into the ropes, and he goes out of the cell!!!
Also in HCTP, I love the old-school 'Taker double-goozle. It's very weak, but so damn cool!

In No Mercy, set your opponent up in the tree of woe. Have a wrestler with the best high flying attributes there is. Put some steal steps by your opponents head hung in the Tree Of Woe. Go to the other rops and go up top. If you have a backflip youll be able to reach your opponent hung up in the Tree and hit him with what looks like a freakin sweet Knee. Your opponent falls and lands on the steel steps. That has been my CAW finishing move for almost 7 years now lol.

You used to be able to do a running powerbomb over the turnbuckle into the outside steps in the old SmackDown! games, not sure if you can anymore. I also liked how you could stack tables in the old games. They kinda tamed it down a bit.

Always doing a finisher thrugh the top of the hell in a cell to the ring GREAT Unless it's an Arm Wrench which I do believe triggered the cell to break.

Ok, my favourite move ever was was done (if I remember correctly) in Smackdown Here Comes the Pain. First, start a 2 player TLC match (You'll never do it in single player).
Set up a table with one of the short edges right in the top left corner. Next throw a table on top of that table, climb the first table and set it the second one in the same position on top. Walk into the 2 tables to make sure they are properly in the corner. Next, set the ladder up to the right of the tables. Then knock the ladder over pressing Square. This will make the ladder land on top of the table stack.
Next, climb both tables (make sure you climb from the other short edge otherwise you'll knock the tables.) then quickly pick up then set up the ladder the same as the 2 tables. NOW you are ready for the move. First, get 1 player to climb both tables then up the ladder. Then get the second player to do the same. Then someone do the superplex off the ladder. Long winded but funny watching 2 guys falling from 2 tables and a ladder over the top rope and down to the floor.
Also, me and my friend used to do the Total Elimination in No Mercy. First have 1 wrestler with a sweep and another with a spinning kick. Then start a handicap match. Work over the opponents leg and wear him down. Then, pick him up so he is dazed and have the guy with the sweep move round a bit to the back and the other move around a bit to the front and then both execute at the same time. If you time it right, the sweep hits first and the way they fall down (providing their leg is worn out enough) makes it look like the kick hits them too.

You know what they really need in these games...
The ability to use the tables whenever, not just when an opponents laying on it. I'm talking about powerbombing or suplexing a wrestler through a table while your both standing beside it. Or like a superplaex off the ropes through a table. I've always wanted this. Wonder why its not in the games seeing as it plays a part in a lot of matches.

The Angle Slam, for instance. And there's that scoop slam that tosses the opponent across the ring. Of course, a chop block does the same thing for some reason.

I think my favorite all-time spot is real simple, but inspired by Darkness Dragon, put them in the tree of woe then do the Running dropkick to knee. Man I love that
