Jillian Hall is from my birthplace, sadly.
As for Phoenix where I live... Kevin Nash used to live here and so did Eric Bischoff.
Armando Estrada is currently in Glendale, Luther Reigns is in Phoenix and Honkytonk Man is in Mesa.

My hometown is equidistant to DC and Richmond, so I'm counting Batista, Mickie James, and Joey Mercury. As am I. Serena's actually from these parts, as well.

Lance Storm grew up 30 minutes from where I live. His family lived down the road and his cousin is one of my best friends. I met him at his Homecoming show in 2007 which was a great time, and he was a very friendly guy.

I'm from the Memphis area so I'm taking credit for Jerry Lawler.
Also, since I live in Wyoming I'll take Eric Bischoff too since he has a house in Lusk which is about a 5 hour drive from me. Keep in mind that "5 hour drive" is the kind of thing you go "f*** it, let's do it" for whatever reason. I once made a 5 hour road trip to take a girl to the movies and drove home that night.

I was told that the late Rufus R. Jones was from Dillon, SC which is 20 minutes from here. Shelton Benjamin is from Orangeburg, SC, which is 2 hours from here. Mo from Men on a Mission live in South Carolina, on the other side of the state, not too far off from Clemon University. One Man Gang was born in Spartanburg, SC. There may be others. I'm not so sure.

The pride of Seymour, Indiana..."Hustler" Rip Rogers.
Seymour wasn't my hometown, but I spent three of my high school years there so I think it counts.

I suppose the only one I could count is William Regal, I live in the East Midlands and he was born in Staffordshire I believe, which is not that far away. Unless someone happens to know any wrestlers who live in Nottinghamshire

Nobody is from Houma, so I'll use New Orleans, and I believe that the late, great Sensational Sherri Martel is from there as well as Heidenreich and Jazz.

I've heard Jim Cornette and I think Ricky Morton both say that Houma had some hot crowds back in the day though. Some amusing anecdotes, for that matter.

Chris Jericho is from the 'Peg. It was cool reading the first chapter of his book and realizing that we went to the same places, did the same things, held the same interests (we're roughly the same age) so it's possible we met before. Maybe I saw him perform in some of his first Heavy Metal cover bands. I went to band wars contest events all over the city back in the day. Reading all this I feel excelled my connection to Chris as the book went on. I felt this made an add-on that made me feel like hoping for him to succeed to an extra degree. To me it was an unique reading experience.

Bob Holly and Paul Bearer are from Mobile, AL which is about 35 miles from where I live.
And the late "Plowboy" Stan Frazier AKA Uncle Elmer was from my hometown (Pascagoula, MS)

Not a single one that I know of from Downey, Calif where I was born but where I live now in Bakersfield lived the late, legendary Adrian Adonis and 80s WWF jobber Mark Ming.
You could say that the Pretty Ricky and Hornswaggle characters were "born" in Bakersfield, since their first televised action was right here.

"Handsome" Jimmy Valiant, the "Boogie Woogie Man" himself, went to (Hammond) Morton High School a couple of blocks away from my house. He was in town not too long ago when his book was released.
The famed San Francisco wrestling promoter, the late Roy Shire, grew up and went to Hammond High.
I'm sure there's at least a couple more. (Hammond was a pretty big city on the AWA circuit.) My uncle would tell me the wrestlers would play softball at Harrison Park. Said it was rather odd to see a heel like Angelo Poffo just having a good time with everyone else before the show.
