By the time guys get to TNA they have considerable indy experience--ROH, Japan, etc. So it would be hard to point to any as "homegrown" when TNA basically is a TV studio in Orlando that tapes twice a month. If Joe ever goes to WWE, TNA will have been the fed that introduced him to a national audience. Just because Dixie Carter didn't squeeze a guy out of her womb doesn't mean that a TNA guy isn't a homegrown talent. The experience and exposure a wrestler gains in ROH, the indies, or Japan (while valuable) doesn't make them a star. The thing I'm talking about when I say homegrown is they got there first AMERICAN national exposure in this company. Anyone who wasn't a known face in WWE, ECW, or WCW would count for the purposes of this discussion. Heck even Killings would apply since nobody remembers K-Kwik, nor do they want to. ;D I remember K Kwik He was even in a tag team title match with BG

Killings is great in ring. He is a big X division guy HOWEVER WHATS UP Is the stupidest song/ catchphrase EVER That was good when Scary Movie first came out and got old QUICK I laugh whenever Tenay says he's an accomplished rapper

On side note, I think Killings is a great wrestler but I cringe whenever he dances and/or raps because it is sooo lame. Especially the dancing, it makes me wanna cry.

I would say Abyss....if I had to choose. Hell, Kane hasn't been Kane for a while now. Why not restart the monster gimmick with Abyss in ECW?

Speaking of K-Kwik...
I remember a rather infamous match I saw for a Smackdown! taping between Kwik and Test. Not to bash Kwik but I'm about to, anyways he whips Test into the turnbuckle and goes for a fancy cartwheel flipdey flopdey move and trips at the end of the move. He whips Test across the ring and attempts it again. And again he slips up at the end. He then AGAIN whips Test across the ring, at this point major boos were being said. AND AGAIN SCREWS UP THE LANDING. Finally, whether planned or not, Test just boots him out of nowhere and pins him with a pissed look on his face.
Later on the Smackdown! airing, they cut the screw ups and left the third attempt on. Not to say that I should judge a man's career with this but it spoke to me about what type of performer he was. All fancy moves (which look crappy if screwed up) and no idea how to improv when need be (as any performer: actor, musician, or comedian you must be able to change your peformance if something is going wrong).
So it's cool that he has gotten a good name in TNA but he'll probably anyways be "Botching" Kwik to me.
