I'm hoping its voice is also slightly distorted, and with a "stuttering" effect too, like below:

I really hated this segment. The voice really was the worst voice ever. I think the only saving grace was Edge being awesome. A robotic voice to a heel GM who says "moron" and "yo" and "ha ha ha" and "you've got the crazy eyes." FAIL. I'm on the other end of the spectrum here. I really loved that segment. The AutoTune voice for the GM was just hilarious, and in a "sport" where an undead man draws all his powers from an urn, a man beating up a laptop whose voice resonates all over the arena isn't out of place.

I generally like "out there" segments. This one, not so much. I just couldn't "buy" that some GM was typing from a remote location and it answered in that dated robot voice in real time as Edge was ready to attack the laptop.
So why does Michael Cole usually have to read emails if they could have just done the "voice" the whole time?
Why would the GM care if Edge destroyed a laptop? He could come through any laptop, not just that one.
It removed the idea that Cole is the GM because COle was not typing while this segment went down.
I hated the cheesy dialogue. Why are you a moron? Ha. Ha. Ha. So lame. Sorry.

Well, said laptop is the GM's laptop, and is as close to a physical representation of an authority figure on Raw, so destroying the GM's laptop is equivalent to, say, Austin beating up on McMahon.

The thing I don't get is the laptop saying stuff while it was being beaten up.
Is the GM sending messages to illustrate the laptop's pain while Edge was beating it up?

It would be cool if there were like a dozen laptops next week and the GM voice was coming out of all of them. Edge's face would be priceless, like when Sign Guy gave everyone ringside an "Edge Sucks" sign

I would love to see Edge destroy all of those laptops in a frenzy.

The GM sounds the same as Al Snow's Head.
Which is nice.

I had heard about this but didn't see it. Have two questions: 1. Did it call Edge Wesley? 2. Was it a sex robot (SEX ROBOT)?

You know... the problem with this whole GM thing is they have done nothing to indicate who it may be. Typically with any other big surprise on a show for a mystery who dunit. You have likely 5 people you suspect, that you slowly eliminate to keep suspense to the story and maybe narrow down to 2 or 3 logical choices.. and then make the reveal on a PPV. You reveal little by little, that's how you keep people interested.. that's how you avoid 2.8 ratings on your flagship shows.
