Exactly, it's like getting geeked over anything past 2001's forbidden The Attitude era and Ring of Honor are the only two things you're allowed to like here. Disagree and be lynched. What about the REAL ECW?

I picked it up today ($20 from Sam Goody), specifically for Barely Legal, which appeared to have been heavily edited in spots. Now correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't there some bit at the start of the show with Tod Gordon and The Eliminators about their macth w/ The Dudleys? I could be delusional but I seem to recall something like that. It'd be typical of them edit Gordon out (considering his recent lawsuit against WWE), but that's taking this "revisionist history" nonsense a bit far if you ask me.

I don't think anything from ONS II was edited, not even lewd chants from the crowd. Some of the wrestlers cussing in pain and what not were bleeped. There's also the ECW vs. WWE Battle Royal match (I would rather have had anything from that show over the battle royal, except the Mickie James/Jazz match or the Angle/Orton promo), a post-show fan comment video (sucks), and the opening segment from ECW on Sci Fi (nothing too special).
I haven't checked out Barely Legal, but PWInsider reported that a Terry Funk vignette and another vignette (either Dreamer or Sandman) were removed, the entrance themes was edited (including Enter Sandman), and Joey Styles recorded new commentary to replace some of the things he said on the original broadcast.

I loved ONS 2 but aside from the special profile dvd's that WWE is doing, I doubt I'll be buying any PPV's on dvd because of the editing- i'll just have to deal with it on the special DVD's they release, but i can get the tapes of PPV's from my friends

What an odd succession of posts. there's hardly anythread on the first page concerning the Atitude era on here. Yea, we hate everything. cheers for tarring everyone with that brush. Anyway, i'd import this if my dvd player wasn't cheap rubbish that made foreign DVD's go out of sync.

Lance Storm landed the weakest chairshots ever against RVD at Barely Legal. It's ridiculous.

Honestly, while I'm tired of the constant bashing of just about everything, most things I say here is just overtly sarcastic... and apparently overly dry.

Bought it mostly for Barely Legal. The edits on it are ridiculous, but it's better than my rotted VHS. The Michinoku Pro international 6-man is well worht the money for it in of itself. Haven't even watched the actual ONS yet. Kinda curious as to whether or not they edited over the sound of the crowd shredding Cena, being as how they need to do anything they can to make it appear as he's the universally loved hero he is. The Attitude era and Ring of Honor are the only two things you're allowed to like here. Disagree and be lynched. Really? Cuz it seems like you're far, far likely to be bitched at for not lapping up the current WWE product and begging for more.

I want to get it, but if it's edited, it just won't be the same.

I want to get it, but if it's edited, it just won't be the same. exactly, hence my waiting to hear how it is before getting it. If the crowd for ONS2 (the main reason I'd be interested in getting it, for some good laughs) and the old Barely Legal PPV are mangled, I wouldnt waste cash on it

God bless free PPV's here in the UK (Not on TWC where we get FREE TNA, ROH, CZW, 1PW, NOAH, ZORO-1 MAX FOR FREE)
And I could get Barely legal for £12.99 so thats no skin off my back
For once, living in the UK helped

I doesnt sound too bad to me I could hear everything loud and clear save for two things. Randy orton cussed at the crowd and they beeped it off and Balls said after apparently injuring himself said "S" word that rhymes with "hit" out loud. This was bleeped also. But according to Joey Styles Balls was only saying "shucks" . So maybe the censors just luved up
