I think I asked this in the last thread, but couldn't find an answer. Anyway, does anyone know if the PS2 version will have the WWE Universe mode and the more realistic weapons system? I would upgrade to a PS3 but college doesn't leave me with much money and I mostly just play WWE and NBA games anyway. Not all that sure. I almost think, since the system is really just a persistent season mode, it wouldn't use up much in the way of power. I'm not sure, but I can snoop around a bit. I just tweeted one of the game's producers (I think his name is Marcus Stephenson) and he said that WWE Universe is in, but the weapons physics won't be. That sucks because I was looking forward to that new feature the most. Maybe I can try to get a PS3 for a X-man/birthday combo gift. The cheapest ones run for around $300 right?

So...a lot of people have RTWs...this game sounds so awesome. Free roaming RTW, WWE Universe...they're putting the things I've wanted for years in a game and making it awesome.
Also, branching stories in CAS? Yes please. The new features sound so good. Can't wait to use the cutscene with a guy busting out of the ring, and then chokeslamming the other guy into the pit, and then fire comes out....

Yeah, the base price for the 160G is $300, but they are selling Refurbished PS3's through Best Buy for around $230. Might want to look into it.

ps3.ign.com/articles/112/1125174p1.html- All right, all right – this is an addition that isn't all that major, but it really appeals to goofy SVR nerds like myself. You've always been able to modify win conditions in your matches to a point – turn on or off DQ and such – but Match Creator really gives you the SVR toolbox and lets you have at it. Using a three-step process – environment, win conditions and rules – you can craft any match combination you like. Want a two out of three falls inferno match? A falls count anywhere first blood match in the Hell in a Cell cage? You can do it. If you stumble upon a creation you really dig, you can even pop into your options and alter the defaults so that whenever you start a one-on-one or whatever, you'll get the settings you like. - E.P.I.C

... Ad hoc match stipulations? Screw one new match type, they've just handed us dozens. That kind of customisation is such an awesome idea.

I think it's gonna be Abraham Washington as an NPC. I swear I read somewhere a long time ago that his show was featured on the game with some ECW invasion thing.

Glad I pre-ordered it.
