Here are the pictures from my New Year's Eve wedding that turned out well (I didn't bother with the blurry ones)  Right before Matt and Nicole became husband and wife (the girl in the pink is "The Reverend Eva," our ordained friend who did the ceremony for us) When I saw this pic at first, I thought the reverend was Tony (Dude). Congrats on getting married, btw! ...maybe I should be ordained. That'd be a pretty sweet gig. |

It's pretty easy to get ordained. I got it done back in October, and I don't even believe in Jesus. Most states won't recognize a marriage performed by someone ordained over the internet, etc. The only people who will honor that marriage or any ceremony provided by that sort of "minister" are the organizations providing ordination themselves. Check with your state and local laws before you go trying to "marry" people. Anyone can officiate a wedding, but generally it has to at least be a justice of the peace to marry a couple insofar as the law is concerned. |
