Ravens OLB Sergio Kindle (fractured skull) has been told he won't necessarily be cleared to play in 2011.

Anybody else waiting for the Patriots to somehow get blamed for this? ;D Rex: I had the tape where we practice our plays, but then I was afraid Bill and Brady would try to steal it and steal our plays, so I knew I had to erase the evidence....but how do you erase a tape? you have to fill it with some video content...

There is possibly nothing as unerotic as a foot fetish video with a voice over from Rex Ryan. That's like one of Homer's "think unsexy thoughts" ideas.

I would like to apologize when I earlier in the year said that maybe the NFC West had a chance not to be the worst division ever. It is and I was wrong

interim coach Leslie Frazier confirmed that Joe Webb will start against the Eagles if Brett Favre (concussion) doesn't gain clearance by Sunday. As much as I'd love it to happen, Favre would be an idiot to try with all the blitz packages and Asante wanting nothing more than to pick off Favre all day and definitely try to go for his last pass. If Favre is insistant on trying to return, he should take the week off and see if he can get a little more better for Detroit. Granted, it's not the Detroit of the last two years... but they're much close to the Vikings league if he wants to try to leave with a win. Granted in the eyes of most of America, that game wouldn't be much to gain for the Vikings and a hell of a lot more of a sting in a loss. In reality the Vikings need to just sort of shut it down in general. Favre should be placed on the IR for his own good. Leaving him off it gives him the chance to defy nature itself and start again...only to later get hurt. Since Peterson's been hurt, I'd shut him down too. The season's done and he is your entire future. Do not risk him coming back and getting hurt for no real reason. I'd do the same with Harvin and his migraines. Maybe even Rice, depending on how he's feeling right now. They have a great core of young players on offense. It'd be stupid to risk a serious injury to any of them when none of them are at 100% to begin with.

The New York Daily News reports that Mark Sanchez's arm "soreness" is related to a cartilage tear in his right (throwing) shoulder.

I get that they have a mutual respect for one another, as evidenced by this YouTube video: That being said, there's no way I can envision Chad Ochocinco with the Patriots in 2011 or beyond. They just removed a malcontent receiver from their roster, and somehow got significantly better because of it. Wes Welker and Deion Branch are having spectacular seasons, Brandon Tate is developing into a formidable big play target, and Rob Gronkowski and Aaron Hernandez are arguably the best 1-2 tight end options in the NFL. From watching his various TV shows, Ochocinco still believes that he can perform at an elite level, and can still be a number one receiver with almost any franchise. While his skill set would be a welcome addition to the Patriots receiving corps, everything else he brings to the table is a negative. He's moody, inconsistent, egotistical, emotional and arrogant; all traits that Randy Moss displayed in his final weeks as a Patriot. I don't know, when I watched him play in the Colts game and Ochocinco's extreme efforts was the main reason that the Bengals were even in that game. Seriously, he was killing himself out there. He may not have always done that, but I saw him making plays and grabbing spectacular catches when it was obvious that he had no feeling in his left arm after a huge hit early in the game (that arm of his just dangled prior to the snap for half the game). To add to that: from what I see, Ochocinco is the only one who's been trying out there every week.

Ochocinco doesn't strike me as a diva-type like Randy Moss or Terrell Owens. Is he a total goof? Yes. Is he egotistical and arrogant? Definitely. But everything I've seen and heard about the guy makes him sound like a total class act otherwise. He's the type of guy to be a locker room leader and just wants to have fun playing (to win!) the game. He busts his ass every single game, even during this lost cause of a season.
I think he'd be a good addition to any team. Even if he doesn't become a favorite target of the QB, he'll be a huge boost to morale.

Yeah, the thing about the Patriots, it doesn't matter who you are, you just have to play every down until the whistle. A lot of players, especially highly drafted ones, don't do that now, they'll play for a few seconds then watch the action, evne if they miss a block doing so.
Ochocinco, as egotistical as he is, always looks like he's out there trying and giving a damn. So I think he could work in New England.

Favre Allegedly Asked Sterger for Masturbation Video
12/23/2010 1:00 AM PST by TMZ Staff
The former NY Jets employee who allegedly received penis photos from Brett Favre also claims she got a text message from the NFL legend ... in which he asks her for a video of her masturbating -- this according to sources connected to the investigation.
We're told Jenn Sterger received the sextual request back in late 2008 -- months after Favre allegedly sexted over the pics of little Brett.
It's unclear if Sterger has turned over the video request text message to the NFL -- which is currently investigating Favre to see if he violated the league's personal conduct policy.
Calls to Favre's camp have not been returned. Sterger's manager and lawyer have also declined to comment.
El Favre will be fined by the league two years after he retires.

I mean, if it's wrong to send pictures of your penis to strange women then ask them to send you pics of them masturbating, then I'll have to rethink my entire dating strategy.

El Favre will be fined by the league two years after he retires. What the snork? On one hand, this could just be rumor. On the other hand, TMZ is usually dead on with their dirt. If he did it, they should discipline him and not sit on their hands, which it appears that the NFL and Roger Goodell are doing if this is the case. If it is hearsay, the NFL should make a statement and just put a stop to it. If however, they wait until after the end of the regular season to discipline a man who is going to retire (maybe), then that would send the message that you can get away with anything you want as long as you are a superstar. As an aside, a young female performer on the indy wrestling circuit once showed me a short vid clip she had made of herself "kneading the dough" on her cell phone. When I asked her why she had done that, she shrugged and said, "Eh, I was bored." We need more women like this. ;D
