Granted, I admit that I very much enjoyed the first one. In my opinion, it was the most realistic film from Hollywood in a long time, as it dealt with real life. And as a pet owner who's been in those shoes, I can relate to every subject matter hit upon.
But do we really need a straight to DVD sequel?
Plus, without Owen Wilson & Jennifer Anniston, what is the point of it?
The movie is about the Terrible Two's/puppy years of Marley. We saw that in the first movie, for crying out loud!

Direct to DVD sequels of theatrical releases = TEH SUX, with some exceptions that I'm not bothered to look up at this time.

Does the original author know about this? I mean, whats next, a sequel/prequel to the wrestler (though i would like to find out how randy went from huge megastar to trailer park denzien<sp?>).
