This morning not an hour ago I got a call from my sister and learned that my grandmother on my mom's side house where my she and my other sister live in caught on fire last night.
The back bedroom, the kitchen, the dining room, and the bathroom where all caught and damaged in it. We don't know what or how it happened possibly an electric fire. I was going to be spending the weekend with them like I always do on Christmas week. Odds are they'll have to find a new place to live now if the damage is too severe.
And to make things even worse, she didn't have insurance on it.
*Sigh* It alway seems like these type of things happen around this time of year...

Yeah she's not hurt or anything, their alright as they called 911. But if the damage to it is too severe, their gonna have to find another place to live and I don't know where.

I'm sorry. Like others have said,I'm glad she's okay. It seems like every day on the news here, there are stories of someone's house burning down. I guess the combination of fireplaces/heating units and Christmas lights are the cause for most fires.

I know how it is. About a month ago, my cousin's house was pretty much destroyed by a house fire. Luckily she and her three kids were safe and unharmed but they lost everything. Thankfully my family is supportive and helping her out until she gets a new place.

Serious Answer: It sucks to hear that happened, although I'm glad to hear that she's okay. I hope things work out. Joke Answer: Those reindeer really have it out for her, don't they?

Well I got some good news. Only the kitchen and the room I sleep in where damaged seriously. The ceiling in them took the blunt of the damage from the fire as you can see through it now. However since she didn't have insurance we don't know when we can move back into it and fix it. Fornuately the damage wasn't as severe as I had feared and luckily she was awake at the time it broke out and investigated it as it was on the outside. I hate to think what would've happened if she had been asleep instead.

Dude I am sorry to hear this. It's never good to lose a home under any circumstance, especially around the holidays. Best of luck and prayers to you and your family/

I'm glad nobody was hurt.
