Holy crap, for once he actually liked a good film! He usually hates good films and likes bad films.

So its Scott Pilgrim, 8 films I've never heard of, and then that movie with Travolta that nobody saw. Interesting.

In a weird way, there's something about Armond White that I admire. He's never boring, unlike loads of other film critics.

Also, does he commonly employ often awful puns for titles? If so, minus one point. If he doesn't, he earns another positive in my eyes.

Let's be honest, he only put that up for fear of the ghost of Gene Siskel haunting him til his dying day.

I loved Scott Pilgrim, absolutely loved that movie. But there are a tonne of films I'd put ahead of it for my personal favourite of the year, let alone what I felt was the best overall film as those can often be 2 entirely different things

As for Scott Pilgrim, try as I might, I just don't like that film, and I think I'm one of the handful on this board that thinks so. Micheal Cera in the lead just drug that film down for me, and I really wanted to like it. I did like some of the other characters, but I didn't care much for his acting. Maybe if someone else was in the lead I'd be able to get through more than half the film? I'm glad that you all love it, but I just can't. But other than those two films, I didn't see any of the other ones on his list.

His favorite movie of the decade is AI: Artificial Intelligence. So, there is still a lot of reason to think he might be retarded.

Holy crap, for once he actually liked a good film! He usually hates good films and likes bad films. He does agree with rotten tomatoes 51% of the time apparently so he likes some good fresh movies. Plus looking at some of his top ten lists from other years most of the lists are really good or critically acclaimed movies with the odd action movie with the position of 9 or 10. Plus I don't think he ever gave a Spielberg movie a negative rating.

From Paris with Love was actually very entertaining. Travolta was great.

And its the same as mine. In fact, the only movie on his top ten that sucks is Takers. Nice.
