Time Out, only because this I actually didn't know, but Urkel was on an ep of Step By Step?

Both shows were on the TGIF block, so it's not a surprise.

They had to use the golden boy Urkel to prop up the sagging ratings of the other ABC family shows from time to time, it seems. I just wish more series did that, I'd like to see Barney from HIMYM guest star on the Big Bang Theory and try to score with Penny or something.
SyFy did it recently with Alisson Scags (Warehouse 13) cameo-ing on Eureka

Speaking of crossovers, apparently there was also an episode of the drew carey show where they watched an instructional video hosted by tim taylor from home improvement. Odd for 2 reasons, 1 being that home improvement was a family show while drew carey, well, wasnt, and 2 for the fact that someone would actually make an instructional video hosted by tim taylor, considering he pretty much botched almost everything he got his hands on.

That is odd. Maybe they watched it for a laugh? You know...like those "Dorf On Golf" videos.

I remember the episode. He helped Stephanie deal with getting glasses.
This was before he created living dummies and robots, made a clone of himself, and went into space.

Can't say I've seen the Drew episode, but there was an entire episode of Home Improvement centered around Tim and Al making home improvement videos and Tim and Al once opened a 24/7 handyman help line. So, it's not like it's out of left field.

Well it wasn't an episode persay. 3J brought a friend to the house and said "See I told you he looked like the dad from Fresh Prince" the carl screams and they run out of the room. It was only in the bloopers (which they showed during the credits) That James Avery walked in and stared at him. It was Richie who brought the friend actually. I don't remember the episode of Drew watching an instructional tape of Tim Taylor but I remembered an episode where Tim Allen was parachuting and landed in the Carey tree and was stuck there. It turns out the two coexist in the same universe. poobala.com/drewandhome.html

[/quote] I know it was in the bloopers, whenever the show airs- the bloopers are not shown for some reason. I found the episode online , and the clip was not on their either.
